Velvet heard talking coming from outside the door, but figured it was just the woman doctor and another doctor talking. She decided not to go check it out because Amber needed her. "Amber? You okay? Are your ribs feeling better?" she asked Amber, because Amber was clutching her left side and shaking, moaning all the while. When Amber didn't respond, Velvet said more anxiously now, "Amber?! Amber! Are you alright?" She got up and crossed the room to see Amber convulsing. "Doctor? I think their' something wrong with Amber!" When no response came, she shouted, "She's convulsing, and her forehead is sweltering! Something's wrong with her!" Again, no response came and Velvet started crying. "Amber, please don't die on me. Your my only friend and I need you to train. I promise you I won't get sulky and hurt you again. Even if it's on accident like it usually is." She grimaced at the thought of the time when she broke Amber's arm because she was mad. "I promise Amber. Just don't die on me."

Arvian could hear the other girl crying for something. He shrugged. 'Now.' He mouthed to Kate, who had gone in the room next to the one with Amber...and the Mystery girl. Kate was supposed to climb through a window and capture Amber, and possibly the new girl and Arvian would block the doorway with another bag, in case Amber tried getting out that way. Though now Arvian wasn't too sure with Amber hurt and all... The, he heard a whistle. The signal. Kate was in! Arvian took out his sword and kicked the door wider and closed it behind him and locked it. He had no need for a mask, though he had his cloak very low and the collar high. "Don't move." He threatened, one hand holding the bag, one holding the sword.

Velvet spun around at lightning speed and laughed, doubling over. She stared at the man holding the sword and realized what was so similar about him. He looked exactly like Amber! But in a male' storm at least. "Are you Amber's brother? The prince. What's his name again? Starts with an E I think....... Oh whatever. What do you want?" she shouted, loud enough so that when Amber moaned none of them heard. "Seeing that you have a bag, and a sword, I'm guessing you want to kill me, and capture Amber?" Velvet said, leaning lazily on her sword. "Well, you can try, but I'm not saying you'll win!"

"Maybe." He said calmly. "Come with us." He added. "There's no way out." Kate crept behind Amber to put the bag over her face. "She won't hurt you." He swore. "You will know something that no one dare tell. Just come with us."

"Right." Velvet said. Before anyone could even see anything, she swung around, knocked Kate off her feet, grabbed the bag and shredded it with her sword, and threw Kate across the room so that she hit the wall hard and fell to the floor. Laughing again, she said, "See. You can't beat me. It's impossible! I'll bet that you didn't even see anything I did during that one second until Kate ganged on the wall." Smiling at the male, she said, "So. Do you give up, or do you want me to slay your partner?" Grimacing as she said that, she was suddenly across the room at Kate's side, sword at her throat. Then she waked over to Amber's bedside, taking less than a second, and covered Amber with her arms. "You're not getting past me, no matter who you are." Velvet said, mischievously smiling, planning their fight in her head.

Kate smiled and took out her own sword. "The prince's command." She said and jumped up ten feet and grabbed the light hanging from the top. "You're not the only one. Amber, how many brothers do you have?" She demanded. As she walked forward and pointing her sword at anyone who dare touch the prince.

Velvet, this time, stabbed Kate in the stomach with the point of her sword and gave her a long deep gash in her sword arm that gushed out blood, making Velvet want to barf. Amber, even though she heard the girl's question, was in too much pain to respond. Velvet responded for her. "We've talked about this before. She said always 1." She walked towards the girl and sliced her stomach, and then faced the male. "We'll? Answer her question then!" Without waiting for a response, she rushed forward, crossing the 30 feet between them in a millisecond and knocked his sword out of his hand, grabbing it in the air with her left hand. She jabbed at him, slicing ever exposed spot on him, until HUD clothing was in shreds and he was bleeding almost everywhere. "I did not need to see that." Velvet shuddered. "Now get out before I kill you completely."

The sounds of a fight resonated through the clearing, and anyone there could barely distinguish the 5 blurs, save for 2, which were easily identified and a white and gold and a dark purple blur. "Tch."Kira said, crouching down before springing backwards to avoid a blow from Kei.
Spinning out of the air, Kei came to a stop, sliding a few feet on the ground from her landing. "Are you alright?" She asked her co-leader, who was clutching his left arm, his sword in its sheath. Kira moved his right arm, and the other 3 blurs slowed down till all 5 were standing in the clearing, one of which was inspecting Kira's wound.
"Hang on, I'll heal it..." Muttered Hayate. Moving his hand above the wound, a green glow emitted from it, and the wound was slowly closing, leaving no trace of injury. Kira said his thanks, as he stretched his arm. "It's a lot better now!" Nodding in acknowledgement, the weaponses back off, standing by his partner's side.
Kimiko stood behind Kira and was watching him closely. Should he have gotten hurt anywhere save training, she would have flipped, that much the others know. Muttering some words to her partner, the reck replied with words that calmed her, and she relaxed.
"When will we be off again?" Kumori asked, his umbrella - it acted as an offence and defence, and the others always wondered what were all of its secrets- and book in hand. Twirling the open umbrella - to which everyone backed off, since the last time he did that in battle, a rain of needles befell the enemy- he continued. "It has been nearly a month over since we last had a job."
They could still hold out for another half year, since when they were free they would help out the townsfolk and gain rewards, but it never satisfied their desire for an adventure. Kei merely shrugged. "It will come with time, we'll just have to wait."

"Amber! I knew it!" Arvian moaned. "I knew it!" He said, giving a small laugh, but coughing too. "15 years in the dungeon! How dim your mind is!" He said, wincing. Well, what did he expect? Of course Amber didn't know her own brother...well, she knew she had Eric as a brother, but she didn't know Arvian. "What's my name?" He asked.

Velvet moaned at the male who called Amber his sister and said, "Seriously! Can't you tell that Amber is in too much pain to talk! Her entire left rib cage is broken! Have some respect for you're so called sister for goodness sake! But we've talked about this too. She always said she only had Eric as a brother...... Her parents never told her she had another brother. It's not exactly her fault at this point." Throwing her hands in the air, she said, "You're not kidnapping my only friend. Just because I am a w....... Oops. Not going to say that. That would give it all away. Why would you want to kidnap your little sister anyway? Amber? What's your opinion about this?" she asked, craning her head a bit to look at Amber. Amber shook her head side to side a little and whispered, "I have 2 brothers? Wow, now I'm confused. And no Velvet, I don't like this guy's idea." Then her head lolled back and she lost consciousness.
