"I'm trying!" Knuckles shouted frantically as he ran like a pack of rabid, hunger-crazed wolves weas chasing him. He dare not look back; this was no longer his territory and, much to his dismay, his normal survival skills didn't seem to apply to his surroundings. He just let instinct kick in and prayed to the Master Emerald that whatever-it-was would give up pursuit.
