(ha I've been planning this for liek.... EVER)
He remembered the day Wyrynn showed up at his doorstep. The boy was no more than 250 years old (something like 12 or 13 in human years? Short-lived creatures), very small, short blue-purple hair, freckles all over his face. Vyrhys himself was quite preoccupied, but took it upon himself to show the kid around the place. Wyrynn immediately began to assist Vyrhys in even the smallest of his tasks, surprising Vyrhys- the other apprentices, the spoiled brats, had let their status get to their heads, not once thinking about the actual duties of their job. This boy was different. Vyrhys liked him.

Vyrhys and Wyrynn grew very close over time, even more so than Vyrhys had with his own mentor. Over the course of a decade, they pushed the limits of Alamour technology, even beginning to explore and set up colonies throughout their solar system. It was the most prosperous time in the planet's history, and Vyrhys and Wyrynn were well thought to be the reason why. But, as always, what goes up must come down.
