ST walks past Deric, blood dripping from it's claws. It turned to look at Dexter, eyes glowing dimly.

Dexter began shaking, internally not ready. He assumed it was now his turn to die.
Deric dropped to his knees, gasping in pain.

One of ST's eyes went out, now only one glowing. Then the other one started glowing again.
"Hm... one? I feel more. But I can't punish you, nothing is worse then what Misery can do," They disappeared back into the shadows.

The shadows wrapped around Deric's body and when they moved away, Deric and the blood that was there was gone.
