Lilura looks up at him. "What does crackup mean?" She asks, giving up trying to keep the twigs hidden. As she takes them back out, she pouts when she realizes a twig had snapped, "I told Ryu that she had to keep her leg, but I guess she doesn't want any."

"A crackup is someone who makes you laugh a lot." He pretends to understand what on earth she was talking about with a nod

Lilura smiles at Casey. "Oh, so that's a good thing, right?"

"Yes. That's a good thing," he confirmed

Lilura gets up from her kneeling position, "Great!" She picks up her toys - er twigs - and puts them on the spare chair.

"Are the sticks good company?" He asked, dead serious

"Not as good company as you." Lilura says, tossing the broken half of Ryu the twig out the window(because I'm assuming there is a window).

"That's not really saying much, though. I'm not exactly the best company in the world."

"Twigs can't talk back." Lilura says. "And that's a reason why you're better company. You're also better company because you know more things about this place and can tell me about things while twigs can only wait for you to put words in their mouths."

"So? You can control what sticks say, which could be much more entertaining. You can have them do what you want them to. You can't really do that with actual humans."
