He walks over to the stables, greeting the stable boy and offering him a basket of bread and two apples. The boy accepts happily, bowing his head and telling him he already had his horse prepared for the ride. The boy walks off, looking like he just won a million dollars. He gracefully mounts, patting his horse's neck in greeting, the horse neighs happily, ready to run.
