So, the vampire was going to stand her ground, huh? He chuckled, "You really don't realize it, do you? You really think I'm after your friend?" His voice was raspy and sharp as he took a couple of steps closer, not wanting to strike first just yet, knowing she was on the defensive. The bird-man appeared to suddenly wake up, shouting something before rushing forward and opening his wings, leaving very little time for Shiv to react. He shifted his feather's color to a deep crimson. He remained unphased though, still focusing on the vampire, "No, darling, I'm after you. So, what's it going to be, huh? Are you going to fight or run? Run, and I'll have bird-boy for lunch. Fight, and I'll have you. If he gets involved, I'll have you both." That should get her to do something. It was clear that she cared about him, so threatening him should provoke a response.

She looked at him glumly and at Tero. She sighed. "Tero, you and Sylev can always be together. she likes you and... You go Tero." she said. She held her head high. She would meet her fate with pride and honor.

(No what happened was that he literally shot forward in his dream because he was being chased by frogs and he flew up after that and the impact of you and his wings woke him up .-. I have frog nightmares, so don't judge me)
