Lilura looks at him kind of stunned that he was offering to help her, "I'm not sure that it is possible to remove 'I'm sorry' from my brain?"

"Well, there's only one way to find out. We'll work on it, trust me. Now, stop sulking. Please," he begged

"Ohkay." Lilura says, giving him a smile. "I'm sorry I have sulked. I will stop now." She swings her legs again, careful not to hit Casey.

"Do you promise?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. A promise didn't really mean much to him since so many people had broken their promises to him. It sounded good, though.

Lilura holds out her pinky finger. "Pinky promise." She says in a singsong voice.

Casey snorted and shook his head, but he held up his pinky as well. "How do you know I'm not crossing my fingers?" He asked, his other hand out of sight, probably under the table

"I trust you." Lilura says as if that sealed the deal.

"That may not be the best choice to make," he replied with a somewhat evil grin and a glint in his eye. "Especially if we're going to be up here. Alone," he pointed out

"You're saying I shouldn't trust you." Lilura says, putting her hand down on the table as she leaned back. "And what's wrong with being up here?"

"Up here, there's no one to protect you from me," he pointed out. "Coming up here might be the biggest mistake you've ever made in your life. You don't know."
