She nodded. *well, my parents were great. But my grandparents, they were worse to me than I was to you. Really. My father was a drug kingpin and my mother was a prostitute. They convinced me to go down the wrong path. And I suppose. . . I got lost. I fought with my parents about this and soon split up, leaving home and breaking their hearts.I was worried you would go out in the streets and be homeless, so I tried to convince you to be like me. But you were much stronger than I was back then. You defied me when I would give up and give in.
