The tail seems to be the one part of the monster that's comepletely unaffected by the light/flames. You'll have to make sure it doesn't hit you anymore. Or, you can pin it.

You catch a few fish, when one comes up that seems a bit strange. It was already dead before you caught it, but its scales are tinged black, and its eyes seem to glow red.

Kate smirks and takes to the Air Her torch in one hand and with the other she grabbed the tail of the monster being sure to not let it throw her around as she pulled straight up and towards the shore using the torch s a deterrent from attacks, and a weapon when she could, at least from the air she could dodge the tail more easily.

Well, I would like to get this tracker rune off of me because I don't want you hurt when we get back in there, so could you possibly teach me how to do that?

Well, I've always been one for danger. Should we head there. I can vaguely remember the way there since I kept an eye out. Standing up carefully, I allow him to ride on my shoulders. They said something about this egg having a map in it. Do you know if that is true, or is it just another dragon egg?

The creature is quite heavy, and it's tail is muscled and powerful. It lashes out and slips out of your hand, the scales providing no grip. You have only managed to get it a bit towards the rock floor. One of the creatures jumps up and snaps it's jaws, just barely grazing you.
