She smiles at the little sprite.

then she looked at Chrissy and stared, her eyes full of shock and confusion.

She stays quiet for now, suspecting Chrissy probably knows the sprite.

Chrissy asked, *um. who are you?*

the sprite stared.

She stares at the sprite. She'd talk, but the doubts the sprite knows sign language.

the sprite said softly, *Chris?*

the sprite smiled. *you know of me.*

your my ancestor? the one who gave me sprite genes?*
