I perk up, I had my flute and am about to offer it to him to play, but then pause, I hadn't told anyone I played the flute, it was a very personal thing for me so in the end I decide against it and instead let out a hum of disappointment

I chuckle and move closer to him, I take his hands and place them where they're supposed to go on the flute then move it up to his mouth "The trick is to not blow into it, rather to put it slightly below the lip and blow into it like that" I explain
