"S-sure." Lilura says, head taking a moment to realize that she had actually been kissed by a guy. She shuffles her feet as she looks down to try and hide her red face, "Lead the way."

"Aw, don't be like that," he said, nudging her shoulder with his. "Lemme see that beautiful face of yours." He started towards a thin deer trail leading steeply upwards to the north.

Lilura looks up at him and flashes him a smile before continuing with her head down after him. She was cursing herself silently for being so flustered.

About a hundred yards up, they came to a clearing with a stream running through it. A small, dilapidated cabin sat nearby, leaning slightly to one side. Casey opened the door for Lilura. This was the only place he could ever call home

Lilura thanks him and enters, taking in her surroundings. "Did we take any food with us?" She asks before saying jokingly, "My tummy is getting a little rumbly."

"Actually, there should be plenty here." Inside, there was a single bed along with a fridge and a table with three chairs. The cabin had electricity, but it wasn't very stable. "Oh, yeah...by the way, I can sleep on the floor, if you would like." There was no way he was going to let her sleep on the floor. There were three sleeping bags stored near the back of the tiny cabin.

"Your house, your rules! I could always sleep on the floor or in the car if you wanted." Lilura says on the topic of her sleeping on the bed, hugging herself self-consciously as she went to see what was available to eat.

"Yeah, there's no way that you're sleeping on the floor. And it's not much of a house." There were peanut butter, crackers, nuts and trail mix, cereal, dried fruit, canned meat, and canned vegetables and bread. In the fridge, there was milk, filtered water, plenty of water bottles, cheese, cream cheese, plain yogurt, eggs, as well at butter.

"Home is where the heart is." Lilura says smiling, taking the trail mix and eating a handful.

He was about to say, 'Well, then I'm homesick for you.' However, he restrained himself even though he thought it was cute when she blushed. "There aren't any showers around here, but there is a river that isn't too far away." There were three duffel bags near the sleeping bags stuffed full of clothes. One of them was Casey's, the other two were his friends' before they had been tortured to death. His lips pulled into a thin line at the sight of the bags.
