Jake sighed, then perked up. *wait. what if i enter a host, like you?*

"Unless the host was a dead body, that would drive the both of you mad. There's a reason we only have one mid in our heads," Naelan replied, "Not to mention that the outcome would be an abomination."

Cole frowned. *but what if Black make new host, like he do for you?*

"It has to be something's body. I have immense amounts of magic binding me to this body, but I still only weigh as much as the grass my body was made of. It wouldn't work," Naelan replied.

Cole and jake sighed at the same time. Jake said, *oh well. But you can summon me every now and then?*

"Of course! I will happily summon you occasionally!"

Jake smiled. *thanks.* then he looked at Cole and frowned. *bro, when did you get spines?*

Cole grinned. *like it?*

Jake nodded. *yeah.*

"Oh no! I kept you too long! You're starting to disipate!" Naelan cried, before beginning to undo the spell to return Jake to the plane the dead call home.

Jake blinked. *i am?* then he looked at himself and froze. *oh crap.* he hugged Cole, whispered, *i love you,* and began disappearing.

Cole smiled. *love you too.*

And Jake faded away.
