Alexander believed that perhaps playing dead might work it's not like they had other options going for them here at the moment he played with his necklace "Alexander! My name is Alexander and I'm a Deepsea glow mer" he said pushing his long white hair back over his shoulders so eveyone could see his features how grey eyes started to glow again showing he was alert

Georgia sat up and waved at Jack,Gabriel,Nell and the others "My name is Georgia" she said and bit her lip I didn't understand why the others would want her she wasn't a lionfin or a cealila mer she was a high sea common mer "perhaps playing dead might work, and I believe that jack and Gabriel are the only mated ones" she said

i wave back to Georgia, giving her a small wave. Gabriel blushes, looking away. "i think so, too. is there anyone else in a relationships?" i ask, petting Gabriel's head. when no one speaks up, i nod. "so i guess that's not why they brought us in..." i muse

"I don't know why they brought us in but why did that women said that they will love us," Malis said and said women with venom in his voice.

"Entertainment, perhaps," Tenebris guesses with a shrug. "Experimentation, or else parlor tricks. Heh, what a life." He laughs bitterly. It's the most you've heard from the mer, although still not very much. The Glowlight is quite untalkative.

Nella sighed "why would they do this to us tho? we have been nothing but nice" she said looking at the others

"You are right but humans will always take things that doesn't fit in their perfect world," Malis said.

"well then we need to take action!" she said poking her head out the pool of water "there gonna take us out this water to take us where we have to go yes?" she said to them

Georgia smiled at jack seeing that he seemed friendly "my guess is they keep us in a tank like they do with the fish they steal" she said explaining places like SeaWorld and pet goldfish she heard humans talk about when she spayed on them from coves (she was hidden) and leaned into Alexander and closed her eyes "humans like to cage anything that isn't their own kind" she said

Alexander growled at her words "why cant we kill them"" he said and sighed and looked around hating the humans already "I just hope they dont try and breed us with each other or try and make mer and human hybrids" he snapped "at least Jack and his seem nice and make a cute pair" Georgia said softly

"i hope so too" i shudder at the thought of being forced to bear pups with someone other than Gabriel. "i don't think mer hybrids could exist though, i don't think we're genetically compatible" i add. thank god for that, i don't want to be with anyone but Gabriel. Gabriel seems to agree, as he shudders and clings to me. "maybe, when they take us out of the water like she said, we can try to escape" he says, looking around the room "there doesn't seem to be anywhere to go, though"

"but what if they pour that sleepy liquid in the pool again, maybe we can play dead?" she said throwing out ideas before shuddering the breeding, she wasnt ready especially breeding with someone she has no feelings for just made her sick to her stomach
