Axel looked over at Azrail thoughtfully. "Hey, wait a sec, you're the kid that slugged Bruce today, aren't you?" He remarked.

Azrail freezes in the spotlight. They chuckle nervously, "Yeah, yeah, that would be me. I had good reason to do so... Of course..."

Zeth had already known who Axel was and long before had dubbed him a waste of her precious time. If anything, she was the delinquent of the school. She was far too unruly and chaotic to put up with an argumentative spoiled book worm. At least that's what she had Axel made out to be in her head.

"Really?" She asked as he interest perked. "I'm all for a good fight. I have yet to find out about this one though. Come on, humor me and tell me what happened," she told Azrial, expectantly awaiting an answer.
Zethrin propped her chin on her palm, relaxing for the time being and seeing no reason to worry for harm to come their way just yet.

"Oh, oh... Um, well. It wasn't really my fight? But it was because Bruce had been threatening one of my friends. I can't stand that type of stuff so I told him to knock it off. He didn't and started to continue to harass my friends so I punched him." Azrail says, shrugging. He wasn't too good of a story teller when it came to actual life things it seems. "I don't think Bruce had been expecting that."
"And of course, I got in trouble and wound up here. With you guys." Azrail finishes.

Axel shrugged. "And Bruce probably got off easily with no reprecussion for being a jerk. Well, aside from the shiner you gave him." He mumbled.

He knew that story, and had seen it played out about a dozen times. Unfortunately, the teachers were just oblivious more often than not... Except today. He would've really liked to be with Prof today.

"I doubt he'll be messing with you two again though." Axel added.

"Oh, he better not mess with us again." Azrail says. "I can't stand it when Bruce thinks he's all mighty and can push anyone and everyone around. Someone has to put him back in his place."

Zeth messed around with a blade of grass as the two kept on. All she was gathering from her current situation was that she was stuck with two goody two shoes. Wonderful. Just what she always wanted.

The icebreaker was beginning to sound less and less appealing as the conversation went on.

"Oh, and you better believe I'm glad somebody did." Axel agreed. "I mean, he knows not to mess with some of the higher-up students, but to him everyone else is fair game. Heck, guy had me up against a locker first quarter last year."

He paused, then glanced back at Zeth. "You look bored."

Zeth toyed with her hair for a while before she finally realized Axel was talking to her.

"Ha! No duh Sherlock," she replied with a small chuckle. "I'm just not super keen on sitting and listening to little perfect people problems. I'd much rather hear about you guys than your problems. Gotta say though, pretty funny that you act surprised that Bruce would pin you."

She blew some hair out of her face, taking a hand and braiding a small pink lock.

"I wasn't surprised actually. I know my arms are noodles." Axel replied, averting his gaze. "What about you then? Wanna change the subject, then go for it."
