Mino stepped forward, holding his hand steadily over the crowd, attempting to get them to quiet. After a moment of excited chatter, the people of Yali calmed.
"Today, as you all clearly know, is a welcoming not of a princess, but of a queen!"
The people were rejoicing loudly, causing him to chuckle. They calmed once more, allowing him to continue.
"This is the welcoming of a Queen, an Open door to happiness, and an offering of peace. We, the people of Aristalia, will welcome our new allies with open arms, and open hearts. Today marks the day that I said yes, and that you, the people, granted us your blessings. Let my political and sentimentality cease, we have a festival to host!"
The crowd once more praised the royals. Flower petals were thrown into the air and music started to play. Mino clapped along to the tune, smiling and laughing alongside his people.

Her smile grew as the festivities began. She had seen glimpses of festivals serving by the princess' side, but the princess never actually stayed for more time than was necessary. So being here right now, in her place, was a bit....odd, per se. But she was still happy that she was at a festival, even if it wasn't as her old commoner self.

Mino turned his head to her slightly, saying "Princess, would you like to go down there and see for yourself what an Aristalian festival is like?"

She looked up at him, her eyes clearly saying yes. She then looked back down. " I would like that. "

Mino continued to smile, taking her arm and leading her back out of the building. They were almost immediately greeted by several villagers who were throwing flower necklaces to the royals. Mino caught one of them and placed it on her, still walking forward. People instinctively made a path towards the center of the street, allowing Xolia and Mino space to move about.
"There so much to do, and we have all day. What would you like to explore first?"

"...Honestly, I do not know. I've never been to a festival before. " She admitted.

"Perfect, we'll start with the markets. The vendors are always cheaper in the mornings."
He lifted her onto Sargon, walking alongside the horse, leading Xolia to the market.
The people waved to the princess enthusiastically, women holding their children up to the princess, and man vying for her attention.

She smiled at the people while following Mino, and while she didn't actively ignore the men, she tried not to get...too close to them.

They made it to the market mostly untouched. The very first stand sold tiny glass animals. Mino helped her to it and pointed to several interesting trinkets.

It was evident that it was very interesting to her. She hadn't seen much of anything like this, ever.
