Lorta is silently following her. He enjoys stalking people.

Celeste thought that she might have heard someone following her, but decided to shrug it off. She came to a creek and decided to take a rest. She looked into the waters of the creek and smiled. The soft glow of the moon on the water was lovely enough to stare at for ages.

Lorta stares at her from the top of a tree. For a moment he considers dunking her head in until she stops moving. That was fun, especially with firebirds when they turned to ash. But that wouldnt be as fun with a shadowbird and his mom would get mad at him.

Now she was sure she heard something. She shot into the air, flying just above the trees to see who on earth might be following her. She thought she saw something, but she wasn't quiet sure.

She feels somebody staring at her.

She decided to make herself seem fierce. "Who goes there! Come out if you want to live!" She threatened emptily as she dove and flew past several trees, trying to figure out who was there

She soon finds the tiny shadowbird, watching her. he's only 10.

She chuckled lightly to herself. it was just a young shadow bird. Nothing to be worried of. She swooped down to perch beside him. "I apologize for the uncalled for aggressiveness. You were very stealthy. I suppose whoever you superior is has trained you well." She knew it was customary for shadow birds his age to begin training for the military, if they were not already in the military forces.

"Why? Mommy said being aggressive was our natural state!"

"Your mommy was right, but still, a little kindness doesn't hurt."
