He nodded,pulling his hood down a bit. Hearing her say he was scared made him feel bad,and he felt like it made him seem....weak. And he hadn't considered himself weak for years. Not since 3 years after the fire. He looked at her with red eyes that where flooded with memories,and gave her a small smile.

She smiled back brightly. Taking hold of his hand. " If you're-" she suddenly paused, realizing what she had just done. She'd blushed again, but not releasing his hand. " I-if you're r-ready l-lets g-go..." She'd stuttered out again, trying to compose herself before he noticed.

His face turned red as she took his hand and he looked at them,realizing just how much smaller hers was to his. He felt like...with just the slightest amount of pressure...he would hurt her,so he tried to be as gentle as he could be,trying to act as tho her hand was just like the little bird he had help last week to get back up to it's nest. He nodded,smiling at her. "S-sure." He said,with a stutter of his own.

He walked besides her,tho he seemed a bit close and the color of his face wouldn't calm nor would his heart rate. He smiled at her a well,his fangs shining in the light.

She saw the lake up ahead and jumped excitedly. " It's so pretty! " She said.

He nodded,holding his tung that wanted to say 'Not as pretty as you' and he didn't even know when he had learned that phrase,but he sure of anything didn't want to say it,he didn't want to offend her or make her weirded out by him so he just agree'd tho he truly did. "Yeah,it really is." He said softly.

His face only deepened in the pink that had begun to calm on his cheeks as he stumbled into a run with her,not wanting her to let go of his hand.

She stopped when they reached the lake shore. " Let's swim! " She said, letting go of his hand and throwing her hands up into the air. She actually didn't want to let go of his hand, but she hadn't recognized those feelings yet.
