Avia was getting use to Amelia walking away without a signal so she wasn't so surprised this time. Amelia walked out of the room so fast it looked like she was flying. Avia didn't know if she could keep up without not making noise so she decided to fall behind and walk slowly. It was hard not to make the floor creek because she wasnt very use to this house. It kinda had the same set up as the one she was living in next door but the floors creaked in different places.
She made it to the stairs without making to much noise. At least she thought she didn't make that much noise. She liked the way the upstairs was set-up It had a long hallway with all the rooms attached. It was super simple and easy to walk through at night. Avia started down the stairs slowly so she didn't make to much noise but she hit a few loud points that made her squint.
Avia made it to the bottom of the stairs and looked around. It was pretty simple design downstairs. everything was separated by walls, nothing special really. The only thing that really stood out was the way they boarded up the windows. They were boarded up so well that you couldn't see a sliver of light through them.
Avia walked through the house and entered the pantry to follow Amelia. She watched Amelia pull the keys somewhere from her person and unlock the storage of food. She watched Amelia pull out a few cans of food and lock the pantry up. Avia was surprised at how well set up these people were. They had plenty of food and clothing.
She walked over to Amelia and watched her heat up the food. The smell was intoxicating and making her stomach make funny noises. It was loud and she hoped it didn't attract any unnecessary attention. She didn't realize how cold she was either till the warmth of the fire Amelia had lit hit Avia's arms. It felt so good that she scoot a little closer and did movements to warm her hands. This house was comfortable an the people were nice. She could stay here till she was absolutely forced to leave.
..........
Jace gave her a weird look. "You learned and were raised by watching movies." He said and smirked at her. It was the weirdest thing he had ever heard. "So what was you'r favorite video game?" He asked her and set his bowl down. He hadn't been eating much lately so he wasn't very hungry anymore. I guess it's something that he got used to and didn't worry about anymore. He only needed water because he was constantly getting thirsty. It was a lot more often now then it was thirty days ago because he had to do a lot more manual labor.
(Yeah im finding it hard to think of an idea to! We need something really interesting to happen!)

She carefully heated the soup, making sure it didnt burn. She stirred it and heated it slowly wanting to make sure it would taste the best. Of course, if one was hungry enough, it could taste like a fried shoe sole and no one would complain. She glanced back to Avia and smiled.
Turning her back on the soup for a moment, she withdrew two steel bowls and spoons. They were mostly clean, but they had been trying to conserve soap, so they didnt use as much to clean with. There was no food stuck to the bowl and it looked clean.
Checking to see if the soup was warm enough, she stuck her finger in the edge of the bowl. Once it was hot enough, she poured soup into both bowls, leaving a bit in the jar for Sebastian to eat once he returned. She set both bowls on the table along with the spoons. Withdrawing cups, she filled them with water for both of them also. The applesauce, she poured into two smaller bowls, again leaving some for Sebastian as well as plenty if they wanted more.

Avia's stomach sounded like a train going off rails, the smell hurt her stomach. She watched closely how carefully this girl cooked the food and how precious it was to her. Food was hard to find so wasting it would be an idiot move. Amelia kept stirring it carefully, She made enough food for three people maybe even a little more. Amelia looked back at Avia and smiled. Avia took that as a good sign and smiled back to. These people were really nice. She definitely felt like she picked the right house to stay at.
Avia watched Amelia walk away from the food to go get bowls and silverware. Avia watched the soup while Amelia was inspecting the silverware and bowls. Avia watched Amelia bring the ones she was inspecting over to Avia and sit them on the counter. They were apparently clean enough to eat out of. Avia watched the girl stick her finger in the soup and then pour it inot the bowls. She saved a little left whitch Avia guessed was for the other person living in the house. and she did the same with the applesauce.
She wanted to grab the food from Amelia immediately but she didn't want to be rude so she just waited till the girl offered it to her. She didn't want to intrude or act like a caveman. Avia was surprised at how well the two living in this house cared for each other. They were always thinking of each other and keeping each other safe.

She sat down at the table and motioned for Avia to join her as well to eat. Lifting her spoon, she scooped out a bit of soup from the bowl and blew on it gently to cool it down. She ate slowly, savoring each bite. She genuinely liked the taste of the soup and knew that eating it too quickly would upset her stomach.
She lifted the cup to her lips and swallowed a bit of water. She used to not like the taste of water, drinking mostly juices or teas, but when all there was to drink was water, she learned to like water. All the same, it quenched her thirst and made her feel better on a hot day.
Her mind wandered to Sebastian, wondering what could keep him so long. She was beginning to get worried about him. After they ate, she would likely get onto the roof to see if she could spot him coming. It would be dawn before too long and she knew Sebastian hadnt slept yet.

((Did orange die...?))
Tartarus gripped her knife. Even without looking, she knew that there wasn't much hope for the girl. She remembered her mother taking Tartarus to patients' rooms. Most of then were on the verge of death. This girl was too. Tartarus heard a step, probably the boy. "Come out!" She said. "Or I'll pull you out, military boy." She was pretty sure he was a part of the military school she spied on many times before the invasion. Tartarus sat down, rubbing her head, trying to rid the headache she had. Not succeeding, she stood up and walked to the shadows were the hidden boy was. Her vision got a bit blurry, but she still walked to the boy. She had vials of expensive and rare medicine in her pockets, but they wouldn't help. She heard him run out, and started chasing him. Hot on his trail, she stopped. She felt really bad. I must've eaten something weird! She thought. It'll go away. She thought again, but she knew it wasn't something she ate. It was something else. "Apollo! Girl, get over here!" She shouted. Her eagle came a minute later, with zombie flesh. Tartarus found fright in her eyes. Apollo tugged Tartarus. She followed Apollo into the street. "Oh no!" She said. She saw a mob of zombies, and Conner, but I saw another boy, with metal claws. "Conner! Here!" I shouted frantically. I grabbed my very long knives from my boots and charged at the rest of the zombies. I also saw another eagle, probably the boy's. I swung my knives at them, spilling some blood, but not quite killing them. She'd have to go through the eyes of the zombies. She wish she had a axe like Conner. But her knives were pretty good, but not good enough. She thrust her knife at the closest zombie's eyes.

((Orange is very much so dead!! XD))
Avia grabbed her bowl of soup and sat down next to Amelia. She immediately spooned some out of her bowl and ate it. It burned but she didn't care she scarfed it down and finished her soup way before Amelia even finished half. She slowly picked up the bowl of apple sauce and ate it slowly. She wanted fruit and this was fruit, It made her toes curl, it was so sweet and juicy.
It took her only five minutes to fish her apple sauce, it was a very sufficient amount and it filled her up. She stood up away from the table and grabbed her bowls. She took them to the sink and ran water in them. She didn't want them to be to hard to clean out in the future. She shook the water off her hands and went and sat back down next to Amelia waiting for her to finish her food.
(WB sorry its not very good.)

((Yes, Dunefairy quit, therefore her characters, Orange and Archer, are no more))
Sebastian darted out the door and ran down the block, not going directly to his house. He didnt want to lead any other strangers to their home. Instead, he took off running towards one of the more populated areas, populated by zombies that was. He had his sai in his hands, but he was relying on running to get out of trouble. If he led his tail into a zombie paradise, he had a higher chance of losing her.
Of course, running towards the creatures that were trying to kill him may not be one of his best plans, he at least knew the streets well enough by now to skirt past them rather than run through the thick of them. He knew they would be on his left side, but he was making a wide circle to keep them to his left and then to his back when he hopefully ditched his tail.
Both running fast and afterwards getting off the ground were his ideas to get out of the way. One thing he loved about the downtown area was that all the rooftops were nearby and the same height. It was probably the only good thing the government had required. He scaled the nearest fire escape and got onto the roof, leaping from one rooftop to the next to get back to the residential area of town where he had started.
When he heard the girls shouts, he knew that she had run into the distraction he was hoping she would. He had no wish to kill the girl, but he also didnt need a stray following him home. Able to slow down his pace a little bit, he dropped back to the ground and kept his eyes peeled for any other zombies on his way home.
He was able to avoid the few that he saw and before too long he made it to the house. Withdrawing his key, he entered the door and smiled when he caught scent of the meal. He knocked on the frame twice and locked the door behind him, and let the smile fade from his face as he got closer to the kitchen, remembering their guest. He couldnt really say anything bad about her, not knowing her yet, but he couldnt see how she would fit in easily with them.
---
Amelia grinned as she heard the door open and the pair of knocks. Sebastian was back. She stood up from her meal and withdrew another set of clean dishes. Without a word, she served Sebastian his dinner as well, pouring the remains of the soup into his bowl and setting it down with a spoon. She also poured some apple sauce into a second bowl and filled a glass with water.
She then sat down and finished her own meal, enjoying it slowly. She was glad that Avia was able to eat and feel satisfied. She watched with a bit of interest as she cleaned her bowls before joining her. She hadnt asked her to do so and was pleasantly surprised at her willingness to assist in the cleanup. It was a sign of her willingness to help with other things as well.
---
Sebastian was pleasantly surprised to find his meal already served for him as well. He lifted the medical bag off his shoulder and set it on the floor to be dealt with later. For now, he would eat. He didnt even bother filling in Amelia yet, too exhausted to do much more than eat for now. He had been up for over twenty four hours as it was, not including all the energy spent dealing with the boy and girl and running for his life. He was just glad to be home and relatively safe.

Avia smiled at the guy who just walked in and sat down to eat his food. He looked tired, maybe sleep deprived. She wondered why he didn't just let Amelia do some of the work that he had to do so hecould get some more sleep. She didn't realize she was staring til she pinched herself. She had at least pinched herself fifteen times today and she had red blotches up and down her arm.
She glanced at the guy again and asked "What's you'r name." She made sure she said it in a whisper so she didn't startle him. She didn't expect him to answer he was tired and probably hungry so he probably didn't feel like talking to a total stranger that intruded on his home.

Sebastian glanced at the girl when she spoke. He was thankful that she at least whispered. Whispers were easier to his ears even under optimal conditions. With his pounding headache and being ready to go to sleep standing, it would have made him flinch for her to use a regular or loud voice. All the same, it took too much energy to answer her question. Instead, he lifted the spoon to his mouth again, disregarding that the soup was hot. He didnt even feel it burn his mouth and throat as he ate quickly, quietly.
Amelia ate a bit slower, still, enjoying her meal and knowing that she had gotten at least a little bit of sleep, maybe half an hour. Both of them were quite tired, but Sebastian would need sleep first, then she could get a few hours. Once they trusted Avia and knew she could stay awake for watch duty, it would be beneficial to add her to the rotation. They would figure out later if the rotation would mean that they all kept watch every night, or if they continued a two man swap and one person got uninterrupted sleep every third day.
All the same, she ate quietly and was almost completely relaxed for the first time since Avia had knocked on the door.

Avia sat there and waited for them to finish. She kept fidgeting uncontrollably and wiggling her body. There wasn't much for her to do accept look at the cracked linoleum. The cracks were weird looking. Like somebody had fell and hit really hard. It was kinda in the shape of a body but not there. If she used her imagination she could picture little animals out of them.
