Joseph said flatly, recoiling slightly when Morgan touched him. He looked around, but didn't see a single bird in the busy cross road. They were now getting more strange looks as the strange group of people stood int he middle of the sidewalk discussing what to trade for a burrito. Joseph picked up something shiny off the ground, which turned out to be a golden dollar coin.
"Ooo, what about this? It's golden and shiny too."
He showed them the golden coin, not knowing this was human currency.

She looked at the coin, thinking that it might work. She knew that everyone including humans like shiny things, since the boy she talked to had one of them. "Maybe that can work. Who doesn't like shiny things?" She leaned up against the wall, noticing that her hands has a slightly red color to them. "A human's hands are weak as well!"

"That's what I said..."
Joseph murmured, taking back the golden coin and entering the shop again. The employee reached for the phone before he put the coin on the counter.
"One of, uh- Those please."
Joseph motioned at the burritos, and the employee's eyes narrowed.
"Good to see your buying it now, kid."
The employee murmured, before handing Joseph a burrito and taking the coin. Joseph left the store, food in hand, looking very smug with himself.
"They do like shiny things, and they gave me this! Which I think is human food."
Joseph motioned at the large burrito.
