She opened the egg with a ~rip~ and out popped an eagle chick. "You can raise him with me if you want. He's for a science project. You can maybe name him too.", Bev said rubbing the small fuzzy chick's head softly.

ember in total shock, started to glow a faint light yellow.
"S-so he is a-alive?"
Ember unable to compose herself, stared, completely captivated by the precious Little bird.
"How d-do i raise paper" she said with a curious and fearful face, then she whispered
N-no, its not safe f-for me to...
just then a light flashed through the room and ember turned into a crystal shard
the shard, which is ember's temporary form said "ow, ow.... give me a minute, ill go back to human form"
again another flash, and ember in human form toppled onto the floor.
"I'm sorry" said ember embarrassed, *sigh*, shortly after she got up, she said " like, i said, im ember, but you can call me mysterious girl if it makes you happy. Nice to meet you, bev. Class is about over, im headed to the gym area after this, see ya round."
Kaine shyly trotted along beside his older sister, not really sure where he was going. His soft auburn bangs fell into his eyes often, causing the seven year old to stumble and right his path. In his little hands he clutched a book bag, but it was empty, as he hadn't gotten loaded with homework just yet, being the youngest in the entire school.

Bellamy glanced down at her brother, her hand clutching a small vanity mirror. She usually checked in on him when he was in class, just to make sure he was fine. "Excited for your first day Kaine?"

A smile spread across her own face, her brother was one of the main things that made her happy. She looked around at the classrooms. "Have you figured out which room you're staying in?"

"Of course." She looped one arm around his shoulders protectively, slowing her pace so her longer strides wouldn't pass his. "We'll find you a room and hopefully a nice roommate if they're required."
