Nicole wandered around, Nervea floating by her side. The bright, glowing monster was beautiful and terrefiying all at once, and she could barely believe that it was her brain. She was walking through the forest, looking at the trees and marveling at how peaceful it was.

Flei shuffles a bit more in the leaves, until his head pops up. He looks around his ears twitching, obviously having heard the nearby person. I hop lightly out of the tree, and land right in front of him. I pick him up, gently placing him on my shoulder as I turn around. I freeze as I see a girl walking straight to me, with a floating thing right next to her shoulder.

She hadn't seen the boy before and yelped, trying to hide Nervea but failing miserably as the monster was a bit taller than her and pulsing with a soft bluish glow. It turned to the boy as well, floating over to him. Suddenly, Nicole was in his brain, hearing a slight hum. She knew what to do before she knew it, her conscience touched his and a voice would be heard in his head. Hello?

I recoil as a Voice speaks in my mind, and all my jumbled thoughts screech at me to focus. I don't know what to do, as my mind is my only private sanctuary, a place where I can retreat in safety. I eventually say,
"What are you doing?" It's all I can manage, in the confusion of the moment.

April looked at the strange dog-fox thing in front of her. "W-what are you...?" she asked it apprehensively. She took out her phone to take a picture of it, but it opened on front camera. She stared in horror at herself- her nose had been replaced by this weird yellow/white glowy stuff
