You follow Thornkit and see a waterfall running into the lake, he skidding to halt in front of it and nosed some plants growing beside it, you could tell they were herbs but you weren't sure which ones, due to not having any healing levels.
I decide I should take some just in case I meet a cat who knows what they are / looks over at the waterfall / sits beside Thornkit

Thornkit stays silent and starts lapping at the waterfall, leaning dangerously over the edge. If you try to pick him up, there's a risk he'll be surprised and slip, but if you leave him alone he could also fall.

He turned to look at you, one paw in mid rise, not quite sure how to reverse and get away and staying deadly still

don't move and it is ok / goes over carefully and tries to pick him up

Thornkit accidentally slips on a rock as you pull him back, but luckily neither of you fall in. He watched with shocked, round eyes as the pebble splashed into the water below.

it's ok now / backs away from the edge still holding Thornkit /we should find a safer place...this is too dangerous

You pick up a swiff of fox from the forest begin downwind. You know it can't smell you, do you want to risk going down there?

Thornkit mewls and begins chasing his tail, bounding in little circles. His scratches were looking better, however he seemed quite drowsy, especially after not sleeping while the storm was happening.
