An instinct he flattened his ears to the sound of the arrow before taking a stand to the female morkko's side. She herself didn't seem as though she was intending on running from the fight thus it was best it they stuck to each others sodas in order to prevent getting backstabbed. A harsh growled escaped his throat as the human appeared before him. Was this man a hunter?! No the way he stood before them told that he wasn't, it was in his best intentions to aid them is anything else. The others about them though were indeed hunters though. The male bear like animal rose on his back feet again growling as the cloak flowed about him. The smell of blood filled the air as the first man was injured. Not aiming to kill? That was no lesson, they had to die for what they wished to do! The morkko landed lightly on his feet before bounding towards the attackers and taking one in his maw. The blow was quick and painless as he crucsed the man's neck between his jaws. The black and white female took her turn then by swatting a large paw at the remaining men to scatter them.

(OOC: What do you mean by that?)

Theon appreciated the morkko's strength as he heard the large male deal the death blow. Though he did indeed prefer not to kill he felt no loss at the death of such a despicable man.
He turned to face the dazed hunter who was now beginning to regain his composure. He didn't stand a chance, he might have had a worse fate coming at the hands of the sylesti. In a single fluid motion Theon sliced off the man's head. Clean and simple.
He turned towards one of the remaining hunters who was attempting to scramble away from the morkko's attack.
"Your one handed friend should do well enough to send the message to anyone else who thinks they can hunt here don't you think?"
He said this partly to the two morkko. No point in trying to spare them all from the vicious sylesti, after all there was no reason to protect these men. If one was alive to pass on what had happened here that was good enough for him.

After a while, Uja had also dozed off and Korak had decided not to labor her with their presence. He gently licked Kara awake and whispered "We should go, before she wakes up." he looked at the rabbit, and covered her with a blanket lying around.

Kara nodded, and left the den silently. She looked at the male and realized that he was the first person to appreciate her. That thought made her tingle in a way she had never felt before, and then it was extinguished as she realized she didn't even know his name. What was she doing, mooning over a male she just met?

Korak looked into her eyes, and then slapped himself mentally. You don't even know her name, you idiot! Way to go, steal away a total stranger and then start falling in love without even knowing her! He scolded himself. Yet, a part of him couldn't help but like this vulnyx. She had actually cared about him enough to let him go if danger started, even if it meant presenting her owner with nothing. He shook himself back into reality and exited the burrow. "Let's find somewhere else to stay" He murmured as he looked into the surrounding forest.

Altair-
The male released the human from his grasp while watching the others scramble away. He snorted in annoyance before turning away. The others seemed alright, that was good. What did this human have with them? Their were two colored, why was he helped them? There was no time for him to think about it though as an arrow hit him in the shoulder. He winced some before turning about in search of his attacker. Maria was already on it though as she swatted the man to the ground and quite literally bit his head off. She was a good fighter, he had to give her that. Easing his front leg from the ground he gazed at the arrow protruding from his fur.

Kara nodded and climbed a tree, digging her claws in. Making her way to the top, she looking around and saw a tree that looked relatively low, but wide and flat. She meowed down to Korak "I see a tree over there that should do well to provide shelter"

Thalaj~

The tree den was comfortable enough for her to make a home in it for the night. It was hard to find anything in the dark now that the color was gone from everything. She found sleeping at night was better than in the day. This tree was shelter enough for the moment. Little did she know others thought the same thing.

Theon swiftly drew his bow and shot the final hunter in the back of the neck as he ran away. He then turned his attention to the male morkko, he had been hit by an arrow and would only do himself harm by trying to remove it. Carefully Theon removed his weapons and placed them on the ground as he approached the morkko.
"I can help you with that if you would let me."
He turned to face where the morkko's head was to establish some sort of eye contact to reassure the sylesti that he meant no harm.

Shadow stopped and looked at the human. "Who are you!" Shadow growled. She hoped he understood her words.
