Lol mine was from an old username I had used for years that one day I had just thought of: PhoeniXXTalon (I loved phoenixes at the time and still do a lot) When I went to register my account, I realized I had combined my 2 e-mails into 1 on accident and had no access to the actual PhoeniXXTalon account xD So I took out an X and here I am.

So this is why half the 7th grade boys at my school are like, "THE SPACE WHALES WILL GET US >:U I AM A SPACE WHALE"

Unfortunately I've had a couple bad experiences with internet stalkers, so I tend not to use the same names for long, and it's a little tough to come up with something deeply personal over and over. Often I'll take names from books, historic figures, etc., that interest me at the time, since they get lost in google searches.

Rabscuttle actually is relatively personal given he's a character from a book that's been particularly meaningful to me for over a decade--Watership Down. The main characters are all pretty physically weak and rather, ah, vulnerable to predation--but they get by and overcome the odds through wits and persistence. As a disabled queer fellow who's pretty far from the picture of virile strength and aggression, that speaks to me, and particularly spoke to me when I was young.

My name is actually what I named one of my dogs. :)

I take my name from that of my Muse. As well as her normal appearance (notice how no matter what costume she wears, she's always a similar color and if the costume doesn't have a tail or needs a head item she wears a striped tail and ears, and always has some sort of wings). She's from a world that's inspired by a lot of different video games, and includes many of the different beast people races from the Breath of Fire series. Basically her father was of the Winged Clan (people with bird wings) and her mother of the Woren Clan (tiger people).

Teefa's name and a few other things about her associates and story come from an old SNES mazecrawler called Arcana. Back when I was a little kid, and had very little experience with RPGs (I think it was like the second or third RPG I ever really saw much exposure to), I guessed a major plot point involving her with no real information to go on besides her introduction to the plot and her manual profile! Naturally, my elementary school mentality made me think I was psychic for that reason. And I've had a special association with her ever since, thus why she was the inspiration for my Muse.

I picked my username simply because I was tired of the one I use for everything and I decided I need a change. It went from 'I need something regal sounding' which gave the idea of 'Lady Of The' and then I couldn't think what I wanted be of the for.
As I'm a nightowl I finally decided on the night.

The story isn't nearly as interesting as you think, hehe. I started using this username in like 5th grade, back before I knew how to spell. I thought the word domino was really cool, so I used it to sign up for some pet site (I can't remember which one, whoops) but I misspelled it as doNmino. It was untaken, so I went with that!

Like two years later someone told me that I had been misspelling domino this whole time, but the name has stuck with me anyway.
