Serene walked up the stairs. People shoved their way through behind her. She stayed quiet for most of the time. She snuck her way up and into the mess hall.
Everyone's here... I guess.
She didn't have any friends. She didn't prefer them.
Ugh, I guess I'll have to find somewhere to sit.


Celeste was late. She knew she was. The first day of school... And she was late.
She ran into the mess hall and ran up to the other teachers, and the headmaster.
"I'm here! Sorry I'm late!" she said to Mythos. She panted, tired of running.

Stheno just stared at Duskrade in disbelief, "First of all it's Miss not Mrs. Second I'm not asking you to go easy on her I'm asking you to try and smile to the class every now and then and maybe if you try being a little friendlier the'd wouldn't talk as loudly." Stheno paused then added, "And quit sounding like you're at a funeral." Stheno then slithered away.

Kala accepts his hand to shake, well Von, My name's Kala. Oh you're from Russia you said? My Grandparents live there." Kala let out a mental sigh of relief at Von not being mad, "What class are you going to be in and what kind of monster are you?" She asked trying to think of something to talk about.

A'ine was just walking out of the restroom and she bumps into someone Finally I'm at least the one who's bumping into people "Oh I'm sorry about that. My name's A'ine what's your's?" A'ine noticed a boy watching the door right before it closed all the way Hum I'm gonna have to talk to him.

Jubal stuck his tongue out at Phinesa slightly. "Baking is a type of cooking, so we're both right. Maybe, but I'd like more warning. I ah, actually already ran all the way here today so I guess I'm a little burnt out on running in general. Plus, knowing you're going to lose before you start isn't the best fun." He nodded and began walking with her again, slipping inside as some of the announcements were being made. He lowered his voice as he scanned the room for seats with her and said absently. "Oh, animal class. What about you?"

(She's way emotionally unstable right now. Plus she doesn't trust most anyone or understand how to do friendly interaction. She's going to be way scary for a while. :P)

Kenda's face went slightly blank for a moment as she blinked at the girl in front of her. "That's never been my experience. You help someone because you want to, not because you owe them anything." She hummed softly under her breath for a moment before dropping her knees down and sitting up straighter. "What is your name, thinking of you as "the girl sitting next to me" takes entirely too long."

Chusi kept her expression perfectly controlled as she noticed that no one came over to interact with her, concealing all her irritation with a look of mild interest at the proceedings of the teachers. She kept her ears open for all the conversations around her, passively learning a little about some of the closer and louder students. Her mouth formed into a smooth, artificial smile. 'No one to talk to hmm? That's okay. I learn more this way.'

Duskrade watches as Ms. Stheno says to smile a little more and almost chuckles at the request of him smiling the last time he smiled was not good he made a kid pee himself. So that smile request was certainly out and to began with the other just to even think about it was so far out of the question it almost made him laugh. Clearly not going with any of the request she had as he hufs under his breath and heads of to somewhere in the cafeteria.

Von smiles at the girl named kala and answers her question "oh I'm in animal I believe and I'm an okami, what are you" he ask wonder what was her monster form. He hopes she's not a kistune he hates them and if his new friend was one he doesn't know what he'll do. If she is one that would be a bad way to start his first year here by destroying his friendship.

Ashton bumps into a girl when she is heading to the bathroom in a rather quick manner trying to hide from 'aldork' which is her new nickname for him. She quick closes the bathroom door knowing that the excuse would only work for a little bit she tries to think of a plan to get away. In her head ' I could pull the excuse that I have a stomach ach , or try to dash without him noticing , or I could skip but then he will ask me where I went the next day , oh why does he have to follow me around can't he see I want to be left alone. Well its time to go if I don't he will get worried and then I would have to deal with all these questions'. She walks out of the bathroom with her head down trying to sneak away and hopes that it will work.

Arghhhh hoping to get one in before school sorry they're so short! >.>

"No," Tadi replied sadly. He always wanted to do a cartwheel or a backflip but never ever could. "Oh... I can do this though." Tadi smirked and did a little run up before sitting on the floor and using the air around him to push himself down the hall way. He turned around at the end and shouted "That's not nearly as impressive as backflips though!"

Eniko felt a huge sense of relief. She had made a friend! She was so worried that she'd spend her time as a loner and now she had a friend who was even in the same class! "Oh thank you," she exhaled. "Umm... there's nothing much to say about my family really either," she tentatively added, carful not to ramble. "I have two older sisters, one younger and one younger brother too. His name is Rin and he hates it because he thinks it's a girls name... not that that's relavant.." she said, mentally stopping herself.

Keegan got excited for a bit, and then remembered he was still here to learn and couldn't go off flying all day. "Well that sounds fantastic. I hope we can leave in our spare time and actually make use of it," he replied abruptly.

"Oh..." Haizea was confused. That's what everyone had told her helping was. Maybe Kenda's people did it differently. "Well I'm new to helping. We Sylphs are all capable of helping ourselves. And I'm Haizea. It seems in the midst of almost being attacked I forgot that," she said with a mildly disdainful smile.

Kenda looked at Haizea for a long moment before looking at a wall, bu still murmuring softly in answer. "We Naiads help those in need. My mother always told me that you need to help those weaker than you. That it's your duty." She stopped for a moment, kicking her feet slowly. "I wouldn't attack you unless you directly threatened me."

Mythos coughs into the microphone. "Students? Are all the students assembled in the cafeteria?" He pauses. "Let's just start the lecture." The dragons bows deeply. "As you may know, I am Mythos, the headmaster of this school. You may have met your teachers, and you may have not, but you will get to know them soon enough! Here are the basics of the school: out of class time, you have free reign to explore the lake and forests around the school. Just don't cross the force field that keeps us safe. It's there for a reason. You teachers will form their own class rules, so make sure to follow them." Mythos balanced on each of his feet, biting his lip. "Let's see.....oh, yeah! Each day, you will report to breakfast at 7:40, lunch at 12:30, and finally dinner at 5:30, all located in the mess hall. Please be respectful of each other, no species-driven fights. And for that fact, please no fighting beyond sparring during Weapons Training." Mythos turned. "Any other comments, teachers?"

Duskradelooks at mythos shaking his head frowning a little he got what he needed to say earlier about them not talking in class. He starts walking around the edge of the room his hair slightly swaying in the breeze along with the bottom of his shirt swaying a little too.

"Oh, I'm in humanoid." Phinesa tried to hide her disappointment, but failed horribly. "I wonder if all the classes will join together for fighting practice... Wait a minute! What's wrong with running?.. Oh yeah I guess not everybody likes it. Do the fact it was me you were racing make it any more fun?" She asked still looking for seats.

"Oh well, that's okay." Asher said. He felt bad for him. Backflips were fun. He looked at Tadi zipping in the hall. "Dude, that's impressive! Backflips aren't as cool as that!" he shouted back at his new friend. He had never met anyone who could do that. He had to admit, it was really cool.

Lily watched as her new friend gave out a big sigh. "No worries. I'd love a friend who's the same kind as me!" she said excitedly. "Well, almost the same kind, if you get what I mean."
Lily smiled. "Awesome, you have a lot of siblings! I don't even remember if I had any... I only remember my parents." she said. "It would be so cool if I had a sibling! You're lucky." Lily had always felt jealous of other people who had big families, but not super jealous.
