Katsumi felt a spark of guilt in his heart, as the boy took a step back. All traces of that feeling were, however, lost when the male spoke his next words.

"Sorry I asked, damn... You're a rude person. It was a simple question but apparently, you're too damn disrespectful to answer it with at least a little more sincerity. What! Where you raised by a pack of wolves you damn human... Learn to treat your elders with respect!"

"Human?" Katsumi's voice dropped to a dangerous level, as he hissed the word. While it was his own fault he looked like a human - Katsumi had hidden his wings after all - he still hated to be called as such. Yet, in a human city, he had to act the part. No matter what - wait. He sniffed, and immediately raised his hand to his nose. "You're a half?"

Katsumi immediately fell silent, as he breathed in again, catching the scent of the blood that fell from Jace's fingertips that were currently ablaze. He voice dropped again, but in a more kinder, softer way, for no longer did fury exist in him at this point in time. It was cooled for finally having found someone who was alike.

Katsumi reached out, a pale blue aura enveloping his hands as water started collecting around both palms. A combination of healing and water magic. He grabbed the other half's hands, and the water came into contact with the fire, as the healing magic began working on the wounds. Katsumi chuckled. "For your information, I was indeed raised by wolves, half. Yet, that isn't exactly the nicest thing to call us, wouldn't you agree? Tell me, what is your name?" He then dipped his head, remembering his outburst. "Forgive me. I had run into a little annoyance earlier, and wasn't in the best of moods when you approached."

Jace felt goosebumps creep up his spine when the guy repeated the word human. He didn't know why but something didn't feel right about it. He had somehow offended this human by calling this human a human and it felt like he more than offended this guy, like somehow he deserved a death sentence for just speaking that word in front of him. Before he could say something back, the guy said the weirdest thing, 'You're a half?' echoed through his head and bounced around his cranium like a pinball...

Everything immediately fell to silence and it made him uncomfortable. He would rather be yelling at this guy than sitting here staring at the human with a blank expression. He was still befuddled on how this human knew he was a Half. It freaked him out and he had another urge to take yet another step back. He watched as the guy started sniffing the air and he had to force himself not to laugh. 'Maybe this guy was raised by wolves.' He thought...

He watched as the guy reach his hands out and water slowly started forming around his palms. He could smell something sweet enveloping him and he wondered if it was just water that this guy was collecting or something else. Looking down at his feat he quickly looked back up, it hit him that this guy wasn't human because humans couldn't do things like collect water in there hands out of nowhere. What shocked him even more is that the guy grabbed his hands and the fire slowly died out. His wounds felt numb and the stinging, melting feeling went away.

By the time the guy started talking again, he felt like he was going to pass out from shock, his nerves could only take so much. He listened as the guy explained that he was raised by wolves and how he is a half just like him. He was slightly surprised that this guy was a half as well, he had never met to many of those. "My name?" He was sincerely confused about that. He had more than one last name and he didn't know how he would explain it. "I um... I have two last names because I was adopted. My adopted name is Jace Mesecher but my biological name is Jace Ishida." He explained with a grimace. He hated having to explain that, he was to young to understand why his parents got rid of him and it was so long ago that he couldn't remember everything that happened that day clearly.

Katsumi glanced at Jace as he let the other's hands fall from his grasp, the work done. Ishida. He faintly remembers a white haired boy from his memories. Katsumi eyed Jace. "Strange. My name is Katsumi Ishida. Not many share such a last name. Do you remember anything of your past?" A strange question, yet he felt like it made sense.

A flitting shadow passed overhead, and Katsumi looked up, whistling a short tune. The night black raven swooped down, landing on the black male's outstretched arm. "Keep an eye out for the girls. Should you see them even show a hint of meeting up again, find me." The raven nodded, but glanced at Jace, cawing. Katsumi's eyebrows furrowed. "What? I don't-"

The raven had already taken off. The half cursed, but turned his attention back to Jace. "Come, follow me. It appears someone I know should have a look at you." Katsumi grabbed Jace's hand, and started off in the direction of the nearest city gates.

"Here." she handed the girl her coins. "Take the lead."

Jace let his hands fall and hit the side of his body. He felt so weak at the moment, like everything he knew was a lie. 'This guys last name is Ishida too? Could that be a coincidence? There is no way! But I don't remember ever knowing someone in my family with the name Katsumi... Although, I don't remember much about the time I actually spent with my real family.' He thought to himself.

He was dragged away from his thoughts by a quick shadow passing from above them, and soon after that Katsumi began whistling. Quickly he glanced up in the air and saw a bird swoop down and than land on Ishida's outstretched arm. He couldn't help but take a step back in disgust. Birds were pathetic creatures, no real brain power. In fact, all animals to him were nothing. Just something he had to eat to sustain life.

Turning his head slightly to the right, he listened as Katsumi began talking to the bird. 'Did this guy really think a bird was going to understand what he was saying? How pathetic, this loser must be really lonely.' He thought with a smirk. He wasn't really listening to Ishida's conversation until his voice sounded more stressed. He didn't understand what was happening and Katsumi grabbed his hand and started pulling him away from the group.

Tugging his hand away, he stared at Katsumi with a blank expression. He wasn't about to be led around by a stranger to go visit another stranger. "Where the hell were you planning on taking me!? I don't even know you... Do you think i'll just follow a stranger around? I know the world I live in! We're halfs, you're being reckless and I don't want a part of whatever it is." He said, his tone of voice cold. He knew how cruel this life could be and he wasn't about to walk with this stranger to his more than likely death.

"Hmm." Katsumi hummed. He seemed to be doing that a lot these days to signify that he was thinking. "True, I should have told you first." The half turned, facing Jace. "My sister - that Raven if you will - wishes for me to take you to mom, a wolf. She claims that mom would like to see you, that mom would have something interesting to tell us. Will you come?"

Of course, he could just leave without him, but he felt that his mom would brush him off, not believing him. Strangely, this was the first time his sister than been that mysterious, and it made him curious. Just what did he not know? "I do hope you'll come, for it seems like there's something we're both missing here. Don't worry, they aren't dangerous unless you try to hurt me. They're just that awfully protective."

Katsumi turned again, starting to walk off. "If you will follow, shall we hurry? My wings are getting a little stuffy in my cloak, and I ache to stretch them." He made for the gates again, but paused before he got far, glancing at Jace. "Coming?"

Aqua came up to an advanced potion stall. She read the tags. "Hmm... We might need some healing potions, what do you think?" Aqua asks.

"Good idea. They will be useful. We probably should meet back with Anzai and Lily soon. I don't want to linger here." She looked at the array of potions on the walls, trying to decide what to get.

"Ok. I'll go up in the air to scout for them while you get the potions. " Aqua flies up. She sees Anzai and Lilly with two other boys. She stays there, waiting for her.

After she bought the potions, Senja flew up to join Aqua. "What have those to gotten themselves into?" she muttered to herself. She flew down to them, alighting on the ground with a subtle whoosh of air.
