The war has been raging for hundreds of thousands of years. No one knows how it started or how it will end. The kitsune have the advantage of magic, wisdom, and animalistic power. But the humans have sheet numbers, creativity, and ruthlessness. But what happened when two girls from the races find themselves in a race to survive, and end the war, once and for all?

A pack of kitsune are in a forest at the moment, planning a hunt for food and maybe catching human spies. Its kinda boring at the moment.

I drape myself over the tree branch and look at my pack "who's going after food" I ask "me and Zack can" Chase offers "yes, go hunt with your boyfriend" I tease, shooing them away "he's not my - you know what, never mind" him and Zack head out of camp "Ace, Maceson, Hunter, you three are coming with me, we're gonna go make sure there's no spies in our forest" I jump down and we head out.

Nearby, a young female human, maybe around the age of 18, was wandering around the forest. All her life, she had been an outcast from the humans and perfered nature over the cities. She loved hiking and exploring any natrual area, and tried to stay on kitsunes good sides. She even provided food and shelter for them when they were being hunted by humans and needed a place to hide. Right now, she was nearby the camp, maybe 1 mile away, and with no clue that the fox humanoids were nearby. She sighed softly, knowing that sooner or later, she would need to go home back to her stupid home, with her stupid family, especially her stupid father. She hates her life. She would rather live alone, with the animals.

I bounce along in front of the group, I was full of energy today "calm the hell down Anka" Maceson grumbles, glaring at me "killjoy" i say, sticking my tounge out at him. Suddenly i pause, nose in the air "there's someone here" I whisper

The girl kept going around, sticks and leaves crackling under her feet. She sighed unhappily as she thought about what waited for her back home.

I follow the scent and spot the girl, I pause, watching her. "Hunter, get your a$$ over here" i snarl softly, he bounds over and we both track the girl.

The girl stopped at a small clearing at sat on a log, head in her hands. *god, I hate my life.* she mumbled. *Dads gonna give it to me. Again. For no reason.*

She sighed softly, looking around before pulling off a backpack and opening it, pulling out a small lunch bag. She pulled it out, revealing a small sandwich, chips, and an apple. She sighed unhappily, biting into the apple. *this sucks.* she said between chewing.

"Stuff it" i murmur, i move so that I'm in front of her "who are you and what are you doing in my land human" i ask threatingly, Hunter, Ace and Maceson file out behind me and try to look scary but my opinion the look like harmless little kittens
