I'm a busy, busy, BUSY!!!! person, Krin. New baby. Very demanding, Very draining.
Meanwhile I have a near-constant influx of requests and pets to breed and deals to negotiate and so on. By the time I wait 3 days for something to hatch and make it infertile so I can set it up for personA, I've had orders from personB, C, D and E, sometimes even F and G, and I don't even remember who the heck person A was and my inbox and pings have been flooded ten fold over and suddenly I'm stuck wondering "Wait, who ordered this pet again..?"
Life would be SO MUCH SIMPLER, if I could breed a requested pet. Make the egg infertile. And set it up for the buyer. All in a single, 1-and-done stent, rather than having to juggle all of these orders and after 3 days when it hatches, spend 20 minutes trying to figure out what's what while being screamed at by a baby who demands to be held 24/7. Or worse, come back to it all over and over and over again and STILL despite spending hours trying to figure this mess out, have no luck figuring out who I bred a certain pet for.
Did I mention any time I'm not holding the kid she's screaming at me?
Infertile egg. Simple thing I've requested ever since infertility became a thing. No logical reason not to. Major quality of life improvement. HELP ME, PLEASE!!!!!
PS: if the person who ordered a Galactic Protector Lupe happens to see this, please message me. It's been hatched for 8 days now but for the life of me I cannot find the ping, message, whatever the heck it was for the order, and I don't know who wanted it. :/

Once again adding my support to this suggestion because it being a thing would be helpful for all the reasons mentioned by Xav, and possibly more. Just... so much easier to infertilize as soon as you breed, then send the egg on its way. Please consider making this quality of life adjustment!

This would be great!!
The only reason I can think of to not allow this has nothing to do with how the game works, but, like....how does one spay/neuter a creature that's still in an egg?
Besides that, this would be awesome, and I 100% support this!
EDIT: SORRY FOR THE PING! I am so used to pinging people that I forgot there was another way to reply to the thread!

Support! No reason why this shouldn't be possible, it would just make everything fast, easier, and all together make it a better experience
Another idea to remember who it was for:
set it to their ID while it is in the egg for a price like 900,000,000 so they can't buy it. Once it hatches all you have to do is infert it, and change the price to 250k (or however much). Using the ID you can go to their profile (by editing a link or using AS), and then you know who ordered it, and who to PM with the link.

Support! I understand why eggs can't be philtered for most reasons, like dyes/gender swaps/mutators/disruptors. But I really think there should be an exception for infertilization. That would make selling project pets so much less of a hassle :o

Support~
I can't see a down side to being able to infertilize eggs, and agree with all the points Xav made!
