I'd like to post pictures of plants and insects in my garden. It's currently a mix of native and non-native plants. I'm aiming to include more natives for insect conservation but I got slowed down during the pandemic. Of the non-native plants, I grow mostly camellias.

It's still kinda early in the season. There's still some camellias blooming (most are already done) and other plants are waking up. Unfortunately the camera on my phone has vertical lines that show up on some pictures more than others.

This is probably a ground nesting bee nest judging by the size of the hole. Most native bees in North America are solitary species that nest in the ground. They're very important pollinators.
