It has been 7 years since the invasion. Beings with the faces of those we loved, the bodies of monsters ripping the unsuspecting apart from the safety of their homes. By the time we fought back we were too late and had to sign a treaty of peace... peace only earnt by sending our young to perish. Nobody is safe from the selection whether they are rich or poor they are at risk of having their 10-18 year old child snatched from their hands and tossed into a maze of shifting corridors filled with doom while 4 others run alongside them.

There are no rules. Only that they can only carry the clothes on their back with one item and are allowed ONE alteration of their body/mind before they enter.

Artemis is very quiet person. He is kind although he doesn't really show it. He has Insomnia. He is very reserved and doesn't like to make friends. He is also an introvert. He doesn't trust people well until he gets to know them. He doesn't like to talk much due to his insecurity about his voice having a deeper pitch then most males(Think of Corpse Husband's voice). He likes to meditate to release stress and have a piece of mind. he has a mother aura without him knowing it. He is also very smart do to having an eidetic memory but is very dense in the romantic stuff and will accidentally turn them down with out knowing he did and being very dense on the others feelings for him.

An Amur leopard can see at night. The Amur leopard are also very adaptable to anything. They can also climb trees.

Backstory:
Artemis grew up in a very rich family. He hates being one of the rich kids that would use their parents hard earned money and spends it like it's nothing. He put the money in a bank account and only use it if he needs something or paying for a class that he can learn from it. He took an interest on being a swordsmen and how to use a gun for self defense and other things.

Wealth status: Modest, but quite comfortable. A little unpredictable...

Aaladriel has almost-shoulder-length wavy flaxen hair, bright blue eyes, and rosy cheeks with small rounded ears and a ridiculously pretty face. He's actually pretty tall but comes across as little-brotherly regardless. His facial structure is refined and almost regal, hinting at his royal parentage, but he's always making a stupid face anyways so *throws hands up* what does it matter?
Personality:
He's a bard. *sigh*
Childish, distract-able, fun loving and a little bit hyper, Aaladriel is impossible to put down for long. He's likely to burst out in song at random (and possibly inappropriate) moments, annoy everyone with his Chaotic Stupid antics, and woo ladies and gentlemen alike with his spontaneous charm. He's somewhat volatile and dislikes committing to one thing for long, although he does get overly attached to some people. He doesn't understand things like responsibility or duty to a cause, which can cause.... problems.
Strengths:
Aaladriel is cheerful and charismatic and can singlehandedly brighten up anyone's day.
He's an incredible musician! Although he's embarrassed to admit it and sticks to slightly more.... vigorous songs, Aaladriel can absolutely demolish someone when he sings a sad song. If anyone close to him calls him out on this, he will objectively screech their ears out to prove them wrong.
He's pretty. Need I say more?
Aaladriel is surprisingly stubborn in his own way- it takes a metric butt ton of work to get him in a bad mood.
Weaknesses:
He's a wee bit whiny.....
He's irresponsible and completely scatterbrained.
When he does get in a bad mood.... take cover. He's a complete drag and takes everyone down with him.
He is terrified of caves and has severe claustrophobia.

Back in his homeland, Aaladriel was known as 'The Songbird'. He decided to take that literally.
Aaladriel has a pair of large wings mimicking those of a blue jay. He'll be able to fly eventually, but he needs practice.....
Hardened bones = reduced speed, mobility, and being way heavier. Bones are practically unbreakable tho-

Fatal flaw: Easily, easily distracted and relies entirely on charm.
Backstory:
Aaladriel 'got bored' with the life of a noble and left to explore the world at age of 14, which his parents weren't too happy about but allowed (mostly because they couldn't find him....) He gained immense popularity and status as a sort of folk hero under the stage name, "The Songbird". He traveled from place to place from then on, and for him it was a pretty great life: exciting and unpredictable. At some point his parents found him and tried to wrangle him back into court-ish stuff, but he.... um, escaped. (More specifically charmed the whole court with music, hit his father over the head with a serving platter, and bolted..... it made a fine tale.) He always looks forward to the next adventure no matter how rough it's gonna be.

Personality
Sweet and quiet, absolutely a pushover and tries her best to please everyone. She's not exactly brave or resolute in any ways, and even if she dislikes something, she would rather deal with it than protest at all. Despite growing up quite wealthy, she's not one to complain or be selfish, and she's good at heart although she could be threatened into doing something bad. She can appear extremely poised and charismatic if needed, though she's usually shyer and doesn't like to draw attention to herself. If caught in a situation between two groups, she'll usually pick the one that will most likely end up the best for her, rather than following any other existing loyalties (again, unless she's scared or threatened). She's fairly bright and clever, although she may not seem so at first, as they tend to just see the "frightened rabbit" side of her and assume she's a fool.

Strengths
- Fairly perceptive
- Good at appearing charming or putting on a facade to hide her feelings (not too great at actually lying though)
- Pretty sharp-witted if she wants to be or has to think fast

Birdiness, specifically a meadowlark.
She has some unusual dark barred markings (see feathers) along her arms and neck. She has increased agility and is very lightweight, allowing her to balance easily. She also has several yellow and black feathers throughout her hair, and it's a mystery where they come from xD She can jump inhumanly high, and can almost always land lightly on her feet.

Her father basically assumed she was going to immediately die so he made sure she was dressed more presentably than sensibly. She didn't want to die all that badly, but all she risked doing was getting in the hair clip (see chosen item), which was basically the best and smartest thing she could afford to do.

Fatal Flaw
How easy it is to walk all over her, obviously. She can be arm twisted and threatened into doing literally anything, usually by threatening to harm/kill her, or if she's already scared of you. It does help slightly that at this time she doesn't really have anyone or any possessions she cares about enough to be manipulated.

Backstory
Grew up the youngest of a noble family (3 older siblings, 2 male and 1 female). Her mother died when or around the time she was born, leaving her with her distant, aloof (and often cruel when he was around) father who was always set on bettering the family's name and wealth. Around the time of her birth, rumors began to circulate that her mother was a witch (long story). When her mother died, rather than the rumors disappearing, even more began to circulate that the death was done on purpose by her father, as it was well-known that her father was not happy with the witchy stories, plus the exact circumstances of her death were covered up. Despite this, her father was still extremely influential, so little by little, they began to regain prominence, though it was extremely slow and unknown whether they would ever reach the same heights as previously.
When she was 16, her father made a drastic decision to attempt and clear their family's name: he "brought to light" that her mother had been murdered, then soon after blamed a much poorer man for it. This man was an extremely close friend of their family, specifically to the children, and while the children had always cowered before their father's orders (Tory most of all), well, let's just say a bunch of chaos went down in which there was a trial, evidence was given that the man was innocent, and the children all entirely refused to back up their father's claim. Although he was not punished for the false accusation, as there was no evidence that he hadn't simply made an error in judgement as he claimed, his reputation was further set back, as they had seemingly made him out as a fool (though somehow not enough to damage it too much). Afterwards, her father gave her siblings the option to either stay with him or leave and forever be an outcast. Two of her siblings left (the younger of the boys and the sister), however, Tory stayed behind because she was underage (lol) and was afraid that her father would punish her for leaving (because although he hadn't stopped the other two, she was worried that being the third out of four would drive him over the edge). Her eldest brother also stayed, stating that he had simply made a mistake in not supporting his father, because he had always been close to his father in more ways than one and was basically the favorite son (though more likely because he wanted to take over his father's riches somehow, as he was extremely ambitious)- therefore leaving her subjected to the unwanted attention of both him and their father, who was often even more ruthless and cruel than he used to be.

Very very active, though I may drop out if it gets too busy or moves too fast because it does get kind of annoying to keep up with regardless of my actual activity
Having not much money meant that you probably regularly miss meals, making you weaker and smaller than others. However you are very used to going without and due to our small size you're extremely agile and speedy!
