Ruby Hill
Ruby slowly crept up to the stairs of the huge building until she was finally walking along the corridors, her light steps making basically no noise as she kept pressed against the walls to try and avoid even brushing against anybody. Her luggage was a heavy scarlet leather backpack and a simple black cat carrier she held cradled in her arms like it held the most precious thing in the universe.

Mort Whitlock
With a long-suffering sigh, Mort shoulders his luggage- a single large, bulky grey bag- and slips into the crowd of students, looking not unlike a small, tired crow in a sea of colorful songbirds. Here goes nothing. I can't believe I'm doing this.....

Ruby Hill
Ruby had already put her bag away but she still had her pet carrier cradled in her arms before hearing somebody speak, freezing before making eye-contact with Scarlet. For a good few seconds she was distracted by their interesting coloured eyes until she realized they were actually talking to her.

She fiddled awkwardly with the edge of her sleeve before tilting her head in visible confusion and speaking in a soft tone, "Um... I didn't hear what you said..."

Scarlet Tempest Reaper
"It's okay I asked if you needed any help," Scarlet said bluntly to the girl. "My name is Scarlet what's yours?" Scarlet asked after pulling two pocky sticks out of the pocky box. She puts one in her mouth and hands the girl the other feeling like the girl needs one. "Want one?" Scarlet asked with the pocky stick in her mouth still.
