Heya

So i am having an issue with reg chat. Whenever i or someone else posts the scroll arrow jumps/moves up appearing to cut half of the messages off. I thought it might be me so cleared/ate all the cookies and reset syl which changed the issue briefly so it only affected my posts but now it's back to the above. \ ( ' ^ ' ) /

Can you provide a screenshot of what exactly you're seeing? Will help me understand it a bit more.

This might not be the exact issue, but I know I have a problem that sounds similar.

When the chat history isn't at the exact bottom, so that the latest message is completely shown, everytime someone posts, chat will jump to the top of history so it shows the post that is about to go out of the history.

It makes it hard to read previous messages when the chat is busy, because it keeps jumping, and I think sometimes it will jump down, but not to the exact bottom, so it looks like half a message is missing sometimes.

I always ignored it because I assumed it was a 'quirk' of the region chat, so never thought much of it.

Sooo this is what i mean though not moving. The arrow on the right will climb up when i or someone else posts becoming worse if rc is busy. Gen chat does the same though it only jumps from the bottom to top when someone posts

Which browser are you using?

Does this happen in all browsers? Have you tried using a different browser and seeing if it still happens?

I was using google chrome will try using Microsoft edge today/tomorrow and see what happens

Ok sooo it seems the reg chat issue goes away when not in google chrome (doesn't climb when people post) But Gen chat does still jump to the top when someone new posts

Happens to me as well
