Setting: It is a cold, hard winter for the wolves. The hardest any of them have ever seen. Prey is extremely scarce, and they are always hungry. Because they live at the foot of a mountain and food is so scarce, a mountain lion has been hunting in their territory. A recent accident resulted in the death of a pack member, Luna.

The outcome of battles will be determined by a die roll, however, you can increase your chances by descriptive writing and writing on how you use your strengths against your opponent's weaknesses. Any Player vs. nonplayer battle, the player will automatically have the advantage 3-2

Rose, Shard, Thorn, and Artemis were on a hunting patrol. The harsh winter seemed to have driven out the prey, and the only catch was a rabbit, which Thorn and Shard had worked together to catch. The patrol's usually sleek coats were dull in the light from lack of food. The entire pack was in trouble. Not to mention the mountain Lion. Artemis tried thinking of what to do, but with the pack in such a state, they would definitely loose someone if they tried to drive it off.
Rose turns to Thorn, "That was a great catch! You two worked well together!"

Sable and Remus, feeling bored in camp, decided to go on a small patrol together. As they were travelling to the Northern border, a strange, rank scent hit their nose. They exchange glances and bare their teeth, following the scent.

As they close in on the scent, they realize there are more than one of them. What, they have yet to see.

Nova
Nova sighed and looks around the den. Nova sees that they were running low on supplies on herbs and stuff. "Moonstone I'm heading out to get supplies for the den," Nova said and heads out to get the herbs to stock.


Phantom
Phantom is patrolling the packs territory. Phantom sees no rouges or mountain lions around. Phantom patrols a little bit more. Phantom sees Sable and Remus moving. Phantom slowly goes behind the two and asked, What are you two doing out of camp?" Phantom whisper to the two. Phantom then smells the air to smelled a strange scent in the air.


Eclipse
"Diamond can we play?" Eclipse asked Diamond.

Pings are good! You can never Ping me too much.

Sable and Remus whisper to Phantom. "Bored in camp. Do you smell that?"
"Intruders. Many. We need to call for backup." Sable says
"I'll go a little off so they can't track you from my call." Remus darts off, and minuets later, his steady howl is heard throughout the woods.

Phantom
"Okay be careful Remus," Phantom whispered seeing him leave. "Yes I smelled it to," Phantom whispered. Phantom checks where the wind is blowing. "The wind is blowing towards us so they won't smell us," Phantom whispered to Sable.

Nova
As Nova was getting the herbs he heard the howl that the guards need back up. "What now?" Nova thought to himself. Nova slowly head to where the howl is at.
