There is no short cuts, the lost grove it the very last area you can unlock on the map at the moment, you unlock new areas as you progress in the story just keep exploring and you'll get there eventualy. ^-^

Theres no shortcuts, but it helps to have a good party, good gear, and spend time exploring in the zones!!!

the most typical parties consist of a Tank, Healer, and Attacker
Tank elements are Water, Earth, and Shadow (rarely Light)
Healers are almost always Light (but some people use Water Buffer instead)
Attackers are Fire and Air

Water and Earth are Physical tanks, so they get Assassin equips (boost Strength and Agility)
Shadow (and Light) are Magical tanks, so they get Illusionist equips (boost Intelligence and Agility)
> Profs on tanks are generally a mix of HP, offense, and Agility, depending on the pet's stats, its teammates, and the player's style
> Tank pet goes in Slot 1 of the party

Light Healers are Magical healers, so they primarily should get Evoker equips (boost Int and Dex)
Water Buffers are Physical buffers, so get mainly Myrmidon equips (boost Str and Dex)
> Healer and Buffer generally 3Int/2Dex at lv70, but might vary

Fire Attackers are Magical attackers, so get Evoker gear
Air Attackers are Physical attackers, and so get Myrmidon
> Attacker Profs generally 3Int/2Dex at lv70- fire and air want full offense and use critical hits to inflict debuffs on opponents

(second party slot is unlocked in Esior's Haven, third party slot is unlocked at Sanctuary of Saerielle once that town is unlocked)

Can't comment on your current team as I don't know what they are

At your level there isn't too mutch difference when it come to base stat, just make sure you have a pet that can tank hits at the front of your party (earth, water or shadow elements are the best for that) and somthing that can hit hard inthe back like a wind or fire pet. Here is a guide that explain it in depth.
