RP idea:

There are four kingdoms in the land of Imreoir:

- The Empire of Clubs to the East, a rocky and mountainous terrain focused on defense and construction.
- The Nation of Hearts to the South- a passionate yet volatile kingdom located within a series of rainforests and savannas. It focuses mostly on its own social and economic issues, but has a formidable military as well.
- The Diamond Commonwealth, a successful and businesslike country in a coastal biome that focuses mostly on building its own economy and financial superiority.
- Lastly, the Province of Spades in the Arctic North, an educated and philosophical society, owing their successes to tactics and planning.

Within each of these kingdoms, there are four main royal figures: A King and a Queen, both of which rule the official aspects of their nation. A Jack, who deals with the social aspects. And one Ace..... an Archmage, wielding incredible power specific to their nation. Widely feared and coveted, the Ace is perhaps the most dangerous- and the most powerful- person in their kingdoms.

That's why everyone panicked when the Ace of Spades went missing.

Strange things started happening. The Empire of Clubs saw opportunity and attempted to take over the Province of Spades. The Nation of Hearts started panicking, and rioters and revolutions such as The Broken Hearts (one of the most notorious gangs) began to appear. The Diamond Commonwealth was remarkably
uninvolved..... they're up to something, but what? The Province of Spades itself was desperate, relying on the Ace's apprentice, Evras Ikadiel, to find the Ace and return him to them.

Where do you stand? How will you react? Change is coming in Imreoir.

- An overview of how to build your character -
In this RP, you can choose to be any NUMBERED card- any royalty is off-limits. However, one person may choose to be a Joker card, because I think that would be fun >:)
You will choose ONE of the suits and numbers below!

Two- A Two stands for union and stability. Twos hate being alone, and fear nothing more than an argument breaking out within their friend group. A Two of Spades is likely a smart but social bookworm, a Two of Clubs is likely a solid but stubborn guardian, a Two of Diamonds is likely a charming but saccharine persuader, and a two of Hearts is likely a loyal, compassionate friend. Twos are most likely allied with Evras Ikadiel in hopes of restoring peace and balance in the four nations. Twos get along well with most 'cards', but they do not like Fives or Sixes very much as they see them as chaotic.

Three- A Three stands for faith and altruism. Threes hate being shot down, and will always stand to their beliefs no matter how foolish. A Three of Spades is likely an idealistic and eccentric philosopher, a Three of Clubs is likely a determined but ignorant altruist, a Three of Diamonds is likely to be a driven but goal-oriented visionary, and a Three of Hearts is likely a passionate yet reckless activist. Threes can go either way in their wartime standpoint- their visions vary greatly. Threes may get along well with Fives and Sevens, but they do not like Sixes or Eights as they see them as far too cold.

Four- A Four represents satisfaction and pleasure. Fours are happy with what they have, and hate it when people take their strengths and assets for granted. A Four of Spades is likely a wise and grounded utilitarian, a Four of Clubs is likely both simple and humble, a Four of Diamonds is likely a levelheaded and thrifty realist, and a Four of Hearts is likely a down-to-earth, friendly helper. Fours may be allied with Evras Ikadiel or a neutral party, as they find the current state of war wasteful and pointless. Fours get along with Sixes and Tens, but not so much with Fives or Nines.

Five- A Five symbolizes change and revolution. Fives find the state of the world revolting, and have radical visions about what it should be instead. A Five of Spades is likely a critical, scathing pessimist, a Five of Clubs is likely a brutish, headstrong soldier, a Five of Diamonds is likely a fast-paced, idealistic megalomaniac, a Five of Hearts is likely a fiery, chaotic rebel. Despite their hard-to-approach appearances, a Five can be the most powerful of allies if used properly..... Fives are almost all allied with the rebellions and revolutions against the Kingdom of Spades, even if they are a Spade themselves. Fives usually get along with Eights- although their personalities may clash- and Sevens. They do poorly with Fours, Twos, and Sixes.

Six- A Six is one for adjustments and learning by trial-and-error. Sixes are calculating and cautious, and do not like to make a decision before all assets have been considered. A Six of Spades is likely a calm, nonchalant plotter, a Six of Clubs is likely an icy, brutal warlord, a Six of Diamonds is likely a practical, no- nonsense businessperson, a Six of Hearts is likely a worried, caring 'parent'. Sixes are most likely remaining neutral, but if they do decide they will likely be critical to the war effort. Sixes usually get along with Twos and Fours, but they do very poorly with Fives and not particularly well with anything else.

Seven- A Seven is a bastion of good luck and victory. Sevens are somewhat blindsided and naive, but yet they seem to have an incredible knack for getting out of sticky situations. A Seven of Spades likely tries to be a serious genius but gets their way because of luck, a Seven of Clubs is likely a little blundering and bewildered but astoundingly fortunate, a Seven of Diamonds is likely eager, overambitious and a little bit greedy but still somewhat lovable, and a Seven of Hearts is likely childish and sweet, but so lucky everyone swears they've been blessed by some fortune god.

Eight- An Eight stands for power and leadership.
Nine represents New beginnings
Ten symbolizes Success

Species: The Alamour (Myst spent the entirety of a week working on this lol)

Appearance: There are several native subspecies of Alamour, all of which look somewhat similar but with minor differences. As a general rule, the Alamour are humanoid in figure but very tall, ranging from about 6'9" at the shortest to 9'0" at the tallest. Skin and hair colors are generally shades of purple, although when any specimen is put under immense physical or mental strain they will lose color and turn grey. The Alamour usually have two sets of horns on their heads- the larger set similar to a dragon's, the smaller more like a ram's, although mutations sometimes occur, making a specimen's horns much different. Their eyes are much different from a human's, slitted and purple with a black sclera. They appear faintly dragonlike in appearance, the reason for which is explained below in the 'Evolution' sector.

Life Cycle: The Alamour originally only had a lifespan of about 80 years, but through decades of studies and centuries of hard work this began to grow. In recent times, their life expectancy has multiplied to over 2000 years! The Alamour age at a 1:20 ratio to humans, meaning every 20 human years is like 1 year to them. They consider themselves adults at approximately 360-400 years in age.

Evolution: The very earliest ancestor of the Alamour species was a prehistoric dragonlike creature dubbed the 'star-beast'. These wingless animals were smart, fast and dexterous, capable of reaching the tallest trees of their native rainforests as well as catching some of the fastest and slipperiest prey. Eventually, these beasts evolved to become bipedal, although they more closely resembled lizards at this point than mammals.

Xyrellyn's Journal
17/3/106
I have seen something disturbing in the stars today. It is thousands and thousands of cycles away, farther than even I am able to reach. It seems to be an enormous war of sorts? Regardless, what I have seen deeply troubles me. Such a force as I suspect to be present it is not one I would fancy being pitted against. I've been up days and nights trying to make sense of it, but the more I study it the more worried I become
17/21/106
I am conducting a series of experiments on the aforementioned anomaly, which I have dubbed Outlier #1 for the sake of convenience. I believe it to be a fleet of various hostile forces, and from what I can see said forces are attacking and either destroying or consuming the populations of nearby planets. This is incredibly worrying. The technological capabilities of this faction seem to be quite impressive, and the sheer numbers of their armies are only increasing.
18/12/506
Ziravets worried about me now. She says I've been spending too much time on my studies, that I'm becoming obsessed with this mysterious outlier object. But how can I stand by and ignore something that may become a serious threat not just to us, but to the universe? The children are thriving, I see a promising mind in our oldest daughter Elydys- perhaps she'll take my place one day. Ziravet is right, I should be paying more attention to my own life. This has been a problem my whole life. I need to get my eyes away from the stars and back to the planet where they belong.
3/8/804
Its been a long time since I first noticed Outlier 1. I'm more than sixty cycles old now, can you believe it? (Back in the day, to live four cycles would be considered lucky!) And my children and their children after them may live even longer. We've done good work here. But somehow my attention has been drawn back to the anomaly, and what I've seen sends chills down my spine.
Its headed our way.
I am too old and tired to find much more about it. I can barely lift my head to reach the telescope, and my eyes are far too weary to see much beyond what I have so far. I'm sure you can tell by the state of my handwriting that I'm not much longer for this world.
But if you're reading this, you must be one of the descendants of the Xyydr family- who knows how far down the line? I wish I could have met you, but I suppose this journal will have to suffice. I have spent many days and nights on this calculation, and I desperately hope for your sake and for mine I'm a raving old lunatic who doesn't know what hes talking about. But if this calculation is correct, in its current path Outlier 1 will intercept Zyyriel in the sliver 10800 EoE, more than 500 cycles in the future. Ha, who knows if we'll even be around then? But if you're reading this and you happen to live in 10800 AoE or around it, please take caution. Who knows what could happen?
---
"Aha!"
"What is it, little bro?"
Vyrhys grinned triumphantly, showing off tiny pointed fangs. "After many days and nights! Ive translated a document in really-badly-handwritten archaic Alamour!"
"No way! You're like, what, twelve cycles old?" Torion's blue eyes widened in surprise. He'd known his younger half-brother was smart, but translating an entire document in ancient Alamour? Torion knew three languages fluently and was working on a fourth, but the old Alamour dialects were next to impossible to speak, much less read and write.
"I'm just a genius," Vyrhys decided, placing his small head down on the desk and blinking coyly at Torion. The boys twisted right horn caught the low light of the room, drawing Torion's attention to his unfortunate disfigurement.
Vyrhys hissed at his older brothers worried expression, covering his horn with one small hand. "Hellooo? The face is down HERE, please!" He called irritably.
"Sorry! Sorry." Torion said quickly, shaking his head. "Um. What's it about?"
Vyrhys expression quickly returned to a cheerful one. "It's an old journal from our oldest known ancestor, Xyrellyn Xyydr! It dates from more than ten thousand slivers ago. Cool, right?"
Torion nodded enthusiastically, although he didn't understand much of what his little brother was talking about.
"There's actually a couple hundred of them, Xyrellyn really was fond of journals. I decided to start with this one, but I'm gonna do the rest afterwards. He wrote about an anomaly he called Outlier 1, and how it might reach Zyyriel in um about 10800 EoE. Hey, isn't that in a couple dozen cycles?"
"Um. 10800? I don't know Alamour time all too well.?"
"Uh-huh. Torion, you've been here for almost a CYCLE AND A HALF. Get a grip on things!" Vyrhys scolded.
"Fine, fine. It's like, 10400-something?"
"Third of Noxia, 10406 EoE," Vyrhys proclaimed proudly. "Eleven days to my 242nd sliver."
"Almost right, then!" Torion grinned playfully.
"Not even close." His younger brother smirked.
"Come on. I'm going to the market, and we wouldn't want you to get in any trouble while I'm gone." Torion pulled on a pair of shoes and beckoned Vyrhys out the door.
"Oh dear! Certainly not TROUBLE!" Vyhrys chirped, and together the two brothers followed one another into the markets of Akkoro.
Little did they know....

*tumbles in through door* Myst wrote a song?
It's sort of a theme song.... ish.... not really.... I mean, there's four verses for four CERTAIN RP CHARACTERS named Vyrhys, Akila, Wyrynn and Torion *cough*-
Myst, remember to write and record a theme for Exterminate.
Cringey as heck but HEY that's Myst for ya. xD

I thought I had it all.
Standing high above the world and feeling ten feet tall
But when thousands die and one survives
You lose your sense of truth
When the world you know collapses
Then the world is up to you.
And at the end of the day
Here I am again
A boy with the pieces of a puzzle
He can't solve.
But where mankind falls
Then Mother Nature calls
That's why we're all still standing
We evolve.

You finally see the light.
After an eternity of never-ending night
But you can bet the lost regret
Of many, many days
Makes the brightness almost blinding
Makes it hard to change your ways.
And at the end of the day
Here I am again
A girl with the pieces of a puzzle
She can't solve.
But where mankind falls
Then Mother Nature calls
That's why we're all still standing
We evolve.

Hope is like a spark.
Shining bright, defiantly, an ember in the dark.
And a hundred years of sweat and tears can all but quench a flame
But when everything seems hopeless
Still the smallest spark remains.
And at the end of the day
Here I am again
A boy with the pieces of a puzzle
He can't solve.
But where mankind falls
Then Mother Nature calls
That's why we're all still standing
We evolve.

True love never breaks.
Despite the constant tugging of a million mistakes
And those who love are bound forever
Whatever they come by
For no matter what becomes of us
True love can never die.
And at the end of the day
Here we are again
Kids with the pieces of a puzzle
We can't solve.
But where mankind falls
Then Mother Nature calls
That's why we're all still standing
We evolve.

That's why
we're all still standing
We evolve.

*slithers away* I mean, I wish I could just slap the tune in here and call it a day, but it AIN'T THAT EASY MYSTIE. Also, Yam and Joly if yer reading this- you can probably guess who each verse belongs to. Is it bad that I'm imagining this in their voices? I'm such a fangirl AHAHAHAHAAHAAA
THAT'S ALL FOLKS!
