Does anyone know if there is a list of what the letters in the () after the traits mean? Sometimes I get different ones the listed and I have no clue what is the norm? Thanks!

The letters are another way of representing the traits. Each trait is assigned to a letter, A-Z (excluding N, which means "nothing" or "none").

In the example above:

LL Doberman: this pet has visible Doberman.

BK Broken Shackles: this pet has visible Broken Shackles (B) and hidden Celestial Garb (K). Celestial Garb does not visually show on the pet but may be passed down to offspring.

NB Mechanical Wings: this pet has carried Mechanical Wings. The trait does not show on the pet but may be passed down to offspring.

The colors are another way to see it (blue is vis, purple is vis with hidden, green is carry). If you see NN in black that means there is no trait there, OR if the pet is untested there might be a carry.
