I would love if we could find small amounts of festival currency or brewing agents/other festival equivalents in mission satchels when a festival is going on.

Players hoarding Mission Satchels is already a massive thing. I also have no way of knowing when an individual satchel was earned. So players would just stack up hundreds/thousands of satchels for when an event starts and then open them all and cause a flood of the currency.

Festival Currencies aren't intended to work this way and it's why we've taken so many measures of the years to 'reset' them for the start of each and every event.

Oh interesting, I never would have thought to hoard them. I'm always in need of the gold lol.
Thank you for the explanation.

It still could be possible, I just would have to award the currencies/supplies in a different way. Unfortunately, the Mission system is incredibly old and archaic - it's not really something I'm willing to dig into to update.

At some point though, there will be a newer and better Mission system created. I am sure it will have special bonuses during Festivals/Events.

Though this may be impossible with the way things are set up, perhaps instead of the satchels awarding the currency, it could be the mission itself, so that players would have to send their pets on missions and collect the misson rewards during the fest.

that way players couldn't 'hoard' the missions to be able to collect hundreds or thousands of currency/fest supplies, but missions themselves could still give help to players.

The is absolutely the goal for the future lol.

I have no intention of keeping the satchel system in place. It's just kind of pointless.

It was done that way originally because it was easier for me to manage the rewards and update the loot table and whatnot. I've since learned how to easily offer reward systems without the need for that anymore.

That is good to hear. I mean I love opening up 'random' chests and getting rewards, but there is sometimes too much of a good thing :D
