Help! ive been stuck "surrounded by undead in enigmatic grotto' for a while now. How do i win this battle? ive bought the best armor and stuff i could have at my level but im still stuck. any advice is appreciated!

Okay, first off, all three of your pets can have another proficiency point allocated. That would help.


Second, all three of your pets original proficiency points are in health, meaning they take longer to be killed, but they aren't doing much damage.

I can't speak for the shadow pet, because I don't use one, but I do use wind and fire, however, for your shadow pet, it should have intelligence enhancing stuff, and your epic bracelet is geared towards strength pets. While it does some help, getting one that boosts intellgence over strength would help a lot more.

I don't know which element you are running as your tank, but that is the one that should have a proficiency point for health (I assume shadow). For my Light pet, I have 3 points in Int/Strength (it boosts both depending on element) and 2 in Dexterity, none on health. I run the same set up on my Wind pet.

However, for your wind pet, you should look for Strength boosting and physical damage boosting equipment, because that is what they deal. So your relic and armor are wrong for her type.

For your light pet, on the other hand, only the rare (blue) bracelet is good for her type, he runs on Intelligence, not strength, and does magicial damage, so you want Int and magical damage boosting stuff.

It may help you with your party. My fire pet, Cotton, is my tank.

The big issue I see is all three of them have one or more pieces of equipment that dont match with the type of damage (magical or physical) the abilities they have do.
Masuku
Since shes an Air pet, her abilities do physical damage to opponents. Her bracers (the last two pieces of equipment she has) are fine, but her shield and armor are better suited to a pet that does magical damage. The categories her equipment needs to be in are Myrmidon, Assassin, or Ravager.

Blue
All of the equipment you gave her except the first bracer is fine, being that as a Shadow pet, she does magical damage. So you just need to switch that one (the one in the Myrmidon category) out for one in the Illusionist, Evoker, or Arcanist category. Those are all the equipment categories for pets that are attuned to an element in which the abilities do magical damage.

Fenimore
All of this guys equipment but one piece needs to be switched out for pieces in one or more of the three categories I listed above. Again, two of the pieces he currently has are for pets that do physical damage. His entire set needs to consist of ones for those that do magical damage. The piece of Disciple equipment you gave him isnt great because it splits a pets capability to do damage between magical and physical. While youd think that would be beneficial in battle, in the case of this particular games battling mechanics, it actually isnt. Disciple Gear is best suited for pets used to complete missions that boost Health. So it would be a good idea to switch that out, too.
