so im working in faerinas shrine right now, and i have a quick question. when i get the "there's something lurking ahead do you want to investigate" action, is it ever anything besides a surprise attack? i've never seen anything else happen so im just curious .

I don't think so, I've only ever gotten attacks.

i belive you can very rarely encounter an hatcheling from those as well but most of the time it's an attack.

On rare occasions you can find an egg or hatchling, though it's very rare to find those
