Our story starts around 10pm, in front of the forest. Scarlett had texted everyone earlier on what to bring: food, flashlights, and batteries. and some light medical equipment like rubbing alcohol and band aids. Naturally, of course, she was the first one there, with all her things in the bag on her back as she waited for her friends to arrive.

(okay, ima start. luna calls scarlet red because, well, scarlet is a shade of red. she has nicknames for everyone, most likely cringy. penelope is called lopsy.)
luna (or was it alaska? imma roll with luna) arrived next. her bag was full of medical equipment, her gran being a nurse. she also had a lighter and some books on wild creatures, plants and survival, although she knew it off by heart. "you wanted me, red?" luna chucled. "who else is coming?" she turned around, scaning the road for the others.

luna laughed. "nic is a book boy. thank god i brought reading material!" she giggled, then she looked at the sea of pine trees. "good, at least we will have shelter and food." she smiled happily, still not aware of what happened. all she heard was: forest- missing- help- come- forest. so that she did. "okay.. uh.. how long we going?" she pressed, waiting for the others.

Kit soon came skidding up on her bike, hopping off just before it fully came to a stop, holding it back so it didn't hit her fre. "Hello, ladies! I brought snacks! My mom made brownies!" , She said cheerfully, patting her bag. "I also got a radio, bear spray, and some rope-" She was oddly peppy, but it was natural for her, she's an optimist after all. Though she was internally very worried, fearing that Penelope ran off or got abducted, or- Kit had to take a deep breath to sooth her nerves.
