Is it normal for Eleane to double drop items like this? I usually dont pay much attention to drops but...found this odd

I can't really say whether or not this is 'normal' or not, but remember you also defeated two bandits, that might account for the (if you are referring to the two equipment drops) second drop.

It might have come from one of the bandits, as I am pretty sure normal bandits you run into can drop exotic equipment.

Edit: Sorry, was thinking the wrong boss. Eleane comes with two menders, not sylesti pets, but my point still stands, the menders can rarely, but normally drop exotic equipment and the two drops above the exotic equipment are mender drops

hmm ok, makes some sense. The time of all the drops came from Eleane and her minions. I've not ever seen two equips drop, at least not that i can recall in recent memory.
