Myths of Magic I have no clue why I named it that except that it's acronym is mom, if you rp with me some of the worlds will be familiar because the world is my world that I am currently rebuilding
You grew up hearing about myths. Worlds with magical beings, worlds with magical powers, worlds full of dashing adventures, heroes, and villains. They were rooted into children's stories, folktales and more. Sometimes you wonder how it would be like if the worlds were true.
Little did you know that these worlds existed, the heroes you've read about are still alive. How? the different worlds moved at different time frames with Earth spinning the fastest of them all. One year on Earth was just a second in another world, but now these worlds are in danger.
The balance of the rotations are shifting, worlds are colliding, the stability in the magic worlds have fallen. Revolutions, wars, and schemes threaten the golden age of fairy, fable, and folk tales. Tales of alien invasions, ghost sightings, and more are at the highest peak they have ever been, but the government refuses to acknowledge them.
However, you start to see the signs in your everyday life that these rumors may be true, what do you do? Ignore them or seek them out. Help or turn a blind eye. The choice is up to you.

Rules Please be sure to read the rules, I understand that sometimes people can miss one or two, but if you don't do any of them I may have to deny your spot. If I have to add something else and it's important then I'll ping everyone.
1. Please do not world build. Here's what I mean. Whenever you first enter a place, say a library I'll describe the place or insert a picture. Here's are two examples of something unacceptable.
"I enter the library and pick up a book about spells."
That one is unacceptable because the library might not have a book about spells, here's a better reply. "I enter the library and look around to see if there's a book about spells.
"I go over to a group of pixies hanging out in the library."
First of all, why would pixies be in a library and if I didn't describe a group of pixies in the library they are probably not there. A better reply would be, "I look around to see if there is anyone else in the library."
Insert somewhere in your form what your character would think if they saw pixies in the library
2. Narrator's word is law. If I say you get hurt, that means you get hurt. However, if you think that it was unreasonable, just send me a message and we can talk it through. But realize that in real life, the answer isn't always in front of you and that you can't dodge every bullet or what not.
3. No OP (overpowered) characters or Mary Sues (perfect characters). Every character has its flaws and they can't be good at everything. (Insert the number of times I say please in the entire rule section and incorporate the number into the backstory) Besides, the less perfect the character is, the more fun RPG's are because it won't just be like I need this, I find this. Wait but just to be clear let me say that there should be no Anti Sues (People who can't do anything right) because that's not realistic either, or you're just going to die in the first page or two.
4. Stay true to your character's personality and stuff. Like say your character was afraid of spiders, their first instinct wouldn't be to stroll right up to a giant spider and taunt it. If you have an indecisive character, then don't let them know what to do in every situation. Include a quote by your character in other because Lala likes quotes. Note that the character you play is human, please make the backstory reflect that. They have had no interaction with the mythical worlds before.
5. Please no power playing. That means say in battle you can't give your character skills they didn't have. Like say your character never fought before. Don't go around being like "he shot down the enemy with his first shot." Trust me, archery is hard and needs practice, besides one arrow probably won't kill a beast.
Another example of power playing is. "He swung his sword and decapitated the sphinx." Well, what if the sphinx moved or dodged it? A better way to try to say that is. "He swung his sword in an attempt to decapitate the sphinx."
In other words you can only control your character's thoughts and actions.
6. Please bold/quote/put my last reply in your post and ping me. If I haven't responded in two days, feel free to ping me again. I probably might have skipped the ping on accident because my mouse loves to double click.
7. Do your best to write more than one sentence. I understand in some cases when people are just having dialogue, there's not much you can do, but if you are describing fighting or want to add your character's thoughts the longer description probably gives you a better chance of actually performing the move and I have an idea of what to put near your character because of the thoughts.
8. Unless you tell me otherwise, if you have been inactive for 2 weeks I'll probably kick you out. (However, if it was say because your computer broke or you were at a summer camp, just tell me before or after.)
9. Breaking 3 rules will also result in me kicking you out.
10. Have fun xD (just because I like multiples of 5)
Stuff that isn't rules but I should probably say somewhere
Your character can die (although it's pretty unlikely unless you just have terrible luck with dice) more likely the npc around you will die
I have a set storyline for most of the worlds, although your choices make differences to how quickly it goes or side adventures you get along the way.

Worlds Just for reference, the one you end up in is based on your signup, although there is a chance you could start in one world and then end up in another
Art is not mine
Canopus/Cion Canopus is a planet as dark and mysterious as the residents inside of it. The planet is held together by a dark fog that some inhabitants of the planet are able to manipulate. The fog plays tricks and illusions on the eye and draws its power off the viewer, how it works is a mystery. The landscape is barren with few natural resources constantly forcing them to expand to the other small planets around it. Can they keep control over the subjects they have conquered? Only time will tell. They are seen in myths as those involved in illusion magic or those who can manipulate thoughts and visions.
Cion is a planet of the spirit realm. The residents, which are alive of course, are part human and part ghost, most of whom can switch at a moments will. They travel freely between the different myth worlds and collect the souls of the tortured and death. They had been conquered by the Canopians and now seek to revolt. They resonate as ghosts and whispers in the past in stories.
Luxana A world of light and gold. The place is always bright and there is no night there. The inhabitants draw power off the light. The landscape is full of animals, golden trees, and rich in vegetation. However beneath the illusion of peace, lies a fiery feud between the rich aristocrats, both fighting for control over the workers and resources in order to monopolize on them. They are often found in stories as elves.
Malachi A world divided into kingdoms ruled by princess and princes. While most stories perceive the world in a golden age, the golden age is coming to an end. Unbeknownst to the rulers and their subjects, the terrors still lurk in the shadows. Fueled by anger, broken pride, and revenge, they are now combining forces to take down the kingdoms once and for all. They are often found in fairy tales although their stories have been adapted into several different forms..
Atmostex This world has no magic naturally but the level of technology in it is equivalent to magic. Floating transportation and even building is not a rare sight around here. However between the illusion of seeming abundance is the lack of resources in Atmostex, they have almost hollowed out the remaining resources, and have already expanded up to the highest points in the skies, they've been running test but each time they solve one resource problem another one appears. Inhabitants from Atmostex are often found as mad scientists in the stories.
Stoichian <-- try to not pick stoichian as two people are already in it
Probably the most magical of all the worlds, the world's power is from the four elements of water, earth, fire and air. Each element is protected by a guardian spirit (water/siren, earth/centaur, fire/phoenix, air/dragon). However recently a secret organization have been trying to take the elements away from the guardians in order to control the remaining magic. Most mythical animals can be found in Stoichian.
Krystos Krystos is divided into two regions. Above ground, it's cold and unforgiving, underground inhabitants have harnessed the power of crystals for ages. But the balance of magic and power have once again been shifted. Ancient monsters that have been banished in the past are once against stirring, the crystals are losing their properties and the ice is melting faster than the inhabitants can repair it. Myths from Krystos are centered on the natural phenomena such as the moon, the sun, earthquakes, hurricanes.

NPC's Met
Aria
Personality: She is highly sarcastic and often makes jokes with a sad streak to them. She has a tough outer shell that she always keeps around her. However if you pay close enough attention to her comments, you realize that she's quite self depricating. She's usually a pessimist and head strong for the things she believes in. However she doesn't really get mad if you hurt her, but if you hurt someone around her that she tolerates she gets easily irritated. She's quite cold, used to being hurt and doesn't mind inflicting pain on others. While she might seem unapproachable, she loves helping others and doesn't enjoy being alone. She's missing her index finger on her right hand and she's a pyromaniac
Abilities: create and manipulate regular fire
World: Stoichian
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Orion
Personality: He's fast thinking and quick on his feet, he's good on playing with people's strengths and weaknesses, however he does get haughty sometimes and is easily manipulated by praise. While he usually does wish the best for everyone with his actions, he always tries to manipulate a situation to benefit himself.
He's usually calm and collected, and once you get to know him you realize he's quite friendly and a little bit goofy. Since he doesn't want to become like the Canopus people he works for he tries his best to help out others instead of just staring down his nose at them.
Abilities: can turn into a ghost at will
World: Cion
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Alastor
Personality: He doesn't have any social skills, unless social skills means talking to dead people. He doesn't understand the concept of jokes and takes everything by the meaning of the words. He's not really open with conversations about himself but he loves to talk about other people and their interest. He stinks at conversations usually because he talks with dead spirits more than he does with alive peeps.
He doesn't usually get angry or involved in arguments as he finds them boring. Why argue with someone when you can just wait for them to die and have a conversation with their dead ghost? where they probably won't argue with you because they are too busy moping about their deaths
However, if you manage to befriend him (which isn't hard once you look past his ghost problems) he's actually quite childish and just wants someone to be friends with him and not just assume he's some predestined villain because of his abilities.
He enjoys the little things as they come because he's used to the concept of death and endings, but has this philosphy that all good things can't last long and that all bad things will last for a long time. He's not afraid of death as he's the type of dude who believes the only certainty of life is death
Abilities: becomes a ghost in places of death or when he witnesses a death, can revive someone but they become a shell of themselves and must follow his orders
World: Cion
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Silvia
Personality: She is headstrong, caring, and determined. She is quite intelligent both by being book smart and devious. Sometimes her stubborness gets in her way as she hates being wrong and almost rarely admits it. She is very bubbly and talkative and very curious about the things around her She has an optimistic view of life, and always sees the best in people. Sometimes her extreme optimism leads her to miscalculate situations. She is also loyal and trusting, however if you break her trust, it's almost impossible to earn it again.
Abilities: she has no natural abilities, however with the power of the crystals she can speak any language and charmspeak
World: Krystos
