You are a member of the nearly extinct demon clan. People often lived in fear of demons' powers, so they had them all exterminated. Now, only a few survivors remain (people in the rp).
Locations:

More detailed backstory: The human race is divided into two sides. Normal humans and demons. Both have magic, but the demons' magic was much stronger than the humans' so they planned to "remove" all the demons because they were a "threat to society". While demons individually are more powerful, they lack in numbers and were forced to go into hiding.

Starlight City:

Starlight City is the largest city in the country (and your starting point). It is full of all sorts of strange technology and magic. Few demons live here as most soldiers eliminating demons are within here.

The Bloodclaw Hideout:

Bloodclaw is the name of a group of demons that got together to form their own army to kill the humans. Their goal is to eliminate all people who supported the removal of demons and to help the demon population grow. Their hideout is very well hidden and the location is unknown.

(People always put their mountains in the North, so I put mine in the South!)

The South Mountains are a wide range of mountains. The original Bloodclaw hideout was located here before it was found and destroyed. Some demons escaped up here and are using the old hideout for shelter.

The Forest of the Lost

The Forest of the Lost was once a huge city where demons lived. When the demons here were exterminated, the magical forest lost its power and became the way it is now. It earned the name as the Forest of the Lost because it is said that people would only ever enter this forest if they had gotten lost.

Personality:
Zahara very much likes being in charge and finds great joy in ordering people around. Her very presence demands attention and has gotten her into trouble many times. As of late she and her brother have begun to come out of their hiding and have been wearing clothes that hide who they are.

Her dream powers allow her to torment people, awake or not, and give people nightmares. She can also give people good dreams but she rarely does that.
When using large amounts of her powers she changes into her bestial form which is covered in wispy shadow.
Drawbacks:
When she shadow travels it drains a lot of her strength and she needs to eat a lot to get it back. When she torments and gives bad dreams she goes into their dreams leaving her body open to attack and completely defenseless. Light magic can severely injure her.

Zion has strong presence even though he is very quiet and rarely ever speaks up. He usually follows his sister wherever she goes. He is the strong and silent type. When he is with just his sister he talks a lot more than when around people, but he will make short statements to just her when around others.

His dark fire powers are basically the same as your everyday fire powers except that the fire is black and blue. When using large amounts of his powers he changes into his bestial form which is covered in dark fire.
Drawbacks:
When he shadow travels it drains a lot of his strength and he needs to eat a lot to get it back. His dark fire though it looks different is still just fire and can be put out like normal fire and Zion is not immune to fire and can be burned which is why he wears fireproof gloves. Light magic can severely injure him.

Public menace to decent societies everywhere. Xelius is as obnoxiously cocky, flirty, and outspoken as they come. Rarely does he take things seriously and always seems to have a smile on his face or prank up his sleeve.
He has a generally laissez-faire approach to life and a cool head in rough situations, but seems to have issues with avoiding his emotions.
While X normally has a tendency to snark ears off and make friends with most, he can be very surprisingly withdrawn from time to time for an such an outspoken and unfiltered extrovert, preferring to be left to his work or to focus.

-Regeneration ability due to a magical stone by the name of Fenrir embedded in his right hand.
He can regenerate even major wounds in a span of hours provided it is left intact. This ability does not work if he is exposed to sunlight, forcing him to wait until night or remain in the shade to activate it.

-Rarely takes anything seriously, tends to be all talk and no fight
-Cowardly and physically weak in combat, would rather flee than fight

Personality: While it isn't wrong to call Exaltus arrogant and sadistic, he tends to take a very "ends justify the means" view of the world. He despises humans above all for forcing his kind into hiding. He trusts only in his own power, even viewing his dear younger brother with some contempt from time to time over his many misguided attempts to bridge their two worlds.
Exaltus is generally cool-headed and analytical, even in the worst of situations. He owes this ability to his faithful years spent with the Bloodclaw army. He can be a bit sarcastic and is very cautious about opening up or befriending others who offer him no benefit in return.
