Pure breed are offspring of tagged pets, instead of having a purple tag and a golden star they have a blue tag and blue star.

Adding to what Cian said, they're not worth as much but are what 6vis themeds pets become so if that's the case/they have certain traits, you can make a nice sum from selling htem :)
