Before anyone starts pinging me about how dumb this is I just want to say it could help solve overbreeding.

What if hatchery tabs were the same as stable tabs? They should cost less to purchase a new one, but I think it might help overbreeding a bit. Certain levels could give you a new one (every 20 levels or so?) and you'd start out with two just to be fair.

I know for a fact that project and max stat breeders will be against this but I just wanted to share.

I'm personally and very fed up with how little some themes that were very expensive a week ago cost now. It's ridiculous how new players get their hands on a themed sylesti and go through everywhere they can find 1g breeding and breed it. It totally brings down the amount of gold I could get for some of my pets and it irritates me to a point I can't even describe. I do not want to try and sell a 6-vis pet with decent colors at 3k just to compete with the 100g ones

I believe this is the idea for when Krin revamps the hatchery. At least, it was a couple years ago when the hatchery revamp was last talked about. At the same time, not allowing adolescents to stay in the hatchery and allowing hatchlings to move to the stable was also talked about. This would mean that your hatchery tabs would only be taken up for a minimum of 3 days, which would make a change like this much easier. Implementing both changes at the same time means that there wouldn't be a huge impact on project breeders (as I know most of us toss our fails as soon as we know they *are* fails), so it would really only massively impact mass breeders who keep low priced hatchlings and adolescents in their hatcheries for the full 27 days.

It also has to do with the demand for the pet at the time ^-^

I am totaly on bord with that, it will give more meaning to the act of breeding a pet and hopefully prevent the situations where new players run around trying to get rid of their free pets before they get releassed.
