Everyone was heading to school for the day, it was just another Thursday, nothing extraordinary was going on, and the trees were barren but budding as winter was starting to fade out, even though it was only February. On their way, 9 kids find a strange item...

Mira absentmindedly scrolled through her music playlist, looking the perfect song to listen to on her way to school. It was a nice path to school, going over a creek she fed ducks at sometimes, and she wasn't too far from home at the moment. Her foot kicked something, and she briefly looked over as a small twinkle caught her eye.

She lowered her phone from her face as she saw the glittering ocean blue stone on the ground. She carefully leaned down to inspect it. She gently grabbed the scallop-shaped stone between two fingers, and jumped back when it suddenly flashed, making a small golden chain around her wrist. It was a very pretty looking, and the chain was just small enough to get be able to get her wrist through, and within her mind she heard.

After calming down a little, she found herself sitting on the ground near the creek, the Bracelet stuck on her wrist, and resigned to her fate, she stood up, brushed herself off, and continued her trek in silence.

Beverly closed her door and practically skipped down the pathway. She'd always been a fan of school and- "Ooh, that's a cool rock. It'll look pretty on my shelf!" She said to herself as she picked it up. Suddenly a silver chain wrapped itself around her neck and the stone hung from it. She gasped and touched it as a voice in her head said

Bev shook her head and laughed to herself and continued on her way to school. On the way she thought about what she had been told

Finch was riding her bike to school. She was quietly humming as she went. She didn't really notice the rather large dip in the sidewalk till she was sent flying off her bike into the nearby ditch.
As she drousily sat up, she saw a shiny rock on the ground nearby. Her head throbbed. In this confused state, she thought that perhaps that had been her necklace which had fallen off in the crash. She forgot, however, that she had not put on a necklace that morning.
She reached for it. Once it was in her hands, the words flooded her mind. However, she was too confused to make sense of it. She shook her head then dragged her bike up the ditch, back onto the sidewalk where she continued her ride.

Aidan stept off the bus and onto the cold ground, he still have to walk for a bit before he could see the buildings of his new school yet he had already learned the path quite well. He absentmindedly reach in his poket and pat Plasma's head to make sure he was still with him, the lezard had hiden inside to escape the cold air of the morning. The boy had to admit that his pet had a point there, it was starting to be cold outside, especialy for somthing who coudn't generate a body heat, if he wanted to keep brigning the small lezard with him he should probably looking into portatble heaters, just in case.

As he was thinking, his attention was caugh by somthing bright yellow on the side of the road. At first he though it was some trash left by another walker, a piece of glass or somthing but soon enough he realised that it was a carved stone. It looked like whoever had made it had spent quite a bit of time on it, thinking that it may have some value he went to pick it up but at the moment where his fingers brush against it's surface it changed into anklet, the chains wraping around his nearest ankle.

The whole thing made him a dizzy as words filled his mind, strangely he didn't found himself kicking his leg until the surprise accessory was off him and thrown across the city. He felt almost too normal as he resume walking, his mind not yet able to process what had happen exactly.

Beverly saw the school up ahead and she picked up her skip like walk. She had hoped to get there earlier but the whole gem necklace ordeal had cost her a few minutes. The library was practically calling her from outside the building and she knew she would spend most of first period in there before going to actual class.

Aleister scratched his head, sitting down on a bench. He had class in a few minutes, but he had a raging migraine. Salem crawled out of his hair, scuttling down his arm. He smiled softly, holding her in his head and talking to her. Some people looked at him weirdly, but he didn't care. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught something shining near a tree. He got up, reaching up and putting Salem back.
Leaning down, he picked up a beautiful cassiterite stone, inspecting it closely. As he studied it, a sudden voice appeared in his head.

With that, his head pounded even worse. He wasn't freaked out whenever the stone weaved around and formed into a ring on his middle finger. He grumbled under his breath, before getting back up and shoving his hands into his jacket pockets. He decided to grab is backpack from the bench and head to school, shaking his head.

Leo made his way to school talking to his frog along the way and that's why you never steal a chick-suddenly something gleaming caught his eye Ohh Toad look a shiny stone! he said excitedly. He put Toad on his shoulder before bending down to pick it up the moment he touched it turned in to a pendant and wrapped around his neck. He then head a voice in his head.

He looked over at Toad Um Toad please tell me I'm not the only one who heard that? He then shook his head and laughed thinking he must of imagined it he stood up and continued walking to school forgetting about the pendant around his neck and the voice he had just heard.

Luca ran in late to class she had found a strange stone on the ground and planed on making it into a choker. She needed a new one anyways. She just opened the door when the bell rang on her. She jumped in her seat before the teacher could see her. She looked around at the class covering her face embarrassed she was so late.

Mira barely made it to class on time, still greatly considering what had occurred during her trip to school. She had a sleeve of her jacket pulled over her bracelet, and she toyed with it carefully through the sleeve. She looked out the window, pondering the words she heard, contemplating if she was going insane or not.

*okay class!* the teacher clapped her hands to get everyones attention. *Today were doing group work! Everyone get into groups of 3!* She instructed the class
