A very long time ago, not that long, just about 1,500 years or so. Two major countries lived in...general harmony. The kistunes, fox shifters with multiple tails, and humans. However, one day, for no reason at all, a war broke out. No one knows the exact reason why. But they do know something for sure. The results of the war were horrid. Nowadays, its referred to as, 'The Great War'. The war went on for 1000 years exactly. By this time, the kitsune country was nearly destroyed. No one knows how, as the kistunes of the country had magic. And eventually, King Akron, the kistune king at the time, was forced to surrender, and the humans had won. The human king had then ordered that all 5 tails or more be slaughtered without mercy. You would think that the kistunes would fight back, right? but they didn't. and they died. All the other kistunes below 4 tails scattered. They formed their own new countries. However, here's something that some people didn't know at the time, and still don't know today. Few kitsunes above 5 tails survived. And those kitsunes had children. And that, my friends, is where our story starts.

Min sat in an alleyway. She tugged at the chain stuck around her wrist. How long had it been and she still couldn't get it off? She growled. This thing was getting frustrating. She stood up then let out a long sigh. Sleep would probably be good. She looked around, unsure of where would be best to rest.

Everran Kenji | Right outside of Tarim | Open!
Everran was taking his usual midnight walk. His pale humanoid form glistening in the stark moonlight. As he came back to the city, his large black ears twitched. The male turned to tuck a few tails gently behind him. His cape helped the select three seem invisible. Everran felt a slight chill from the crisp late-night wind, so he pulled his hood over his head, He grumbled when one of his piercings caught on the hood. He hissed in pain as he struggled to remove the fabric without tearing his ear.

Akira walked throughout the capital city of Tarim, sometimes glancing up at the large wall that separated them from the rest of the war-mongering country. Several humans glanced at her, curious about her blue hair color, but they didn't question it. As far as they knew, kistunes had no way of hiding their ears or tails. But they were wrong.

He enter the city in the dead of night, it was probably past the hours where most newcomers would be deemed safe to talk too but he didn't felt like sleeping outside again. As ever he was as human looking as the real deal, somthing his father would have been proud of. He pass his hand in his pales hairs removing a few leaves that had found their way in his hood, only the blue accent in his fur had escaped his magic as was showing in the tips of his locks but it was minor enough for it to pass for some kind of trend comming from a far away region.

Raven was outside of the walls pacing looking for a way in without going through the gate. Her six tails curl around her as she thinks. Any largish hole would be enough to let her in without being seen.
Waren was inside of Tarim being raised by people inside of the city. He had never been outside of the walls before but because of the human's hatred toward his species and recent personal developments he choose the route he thought best for his family.

Hisaki sighed, his crimson eyes peering out of a small alleyway. He rubbed his hands together, generating a small spit of flame on his palms. After warming himself, he silently crept out of the alley, his ears twitching. He reached around and tugged a small cloak in his bag. After some fumbling, he put it on and flipped the hood up. He avoided any eye contact, just looking at the architecture.
Ichiyuu's dull grey orbs scanned the wall, not wanting to enter. He despised humans, but he needed supplies. With a soft grunt, his hid 6 of his tails, leaving just one as to show no threat. The last thing he wanted was to turn out like his father. With a shiver, the male stepped in and immediately blended into the shadows. Just because he only had one tail out, he didn't want to get trapped with ignorant humans.
