Can you use Pet Dyes on themed pets, and if so, do they keep their themed tag?

You can and they do. A dyed theme (or purebred, I think?) will gain the option to restore its colors to the original palette, though.

This used to be a much bigger deal before the restore option was added. People didn't look kindly on dyeing themes, 'cos there wasn't a way to undo it. Now it's not as big a deal, though it's still not popular except for full-vis restricted purebreds (example).
